We had the good fortune of connecting with Malik Creary and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Malik, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Being the first on in the family with a busines.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am most excited and proud about creating and capturing photos from my own visuals meaning my own perspective. I got to the level I am
Now as a photographer by shooting daily
And by night and constantly reading and brushing up on skill to the point where you just live and breathe photography. Some of the lessons I learned along the way are never give up
Don’t leave clients unsatisfied and always stay at a location until you capture the right shot.Some challenges would be shooting in rain , or breeze blowing quite strong and you’re just trying to get a long exposure , a lot of different factors can come into play .I want the world to know That it doesn’t matter where you come from or who in your family is with you or supports your dreams 100%
You just have to strive ahead and sometimes alone cause you can already see your destiny ; where you’re headed to .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would plan on taking my friend to Miami , preferably bay side . And some of the most interesting and unique people I’ve come across would have to be the homeless in Miami . I say that to say this you never really know what your gonna see and their filled with both goood and bad charisma There’s really never a dull moment in Miami .

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To those who have helped me , encouraged me , inspired me or just given me insight on the way up I would have to answer and say my parents . They are the ones who always shined the light on working extremely hard and making success in life .
A few other big players in this the Photography game , like Gourdan Banks , Ansel adams and other great individuals as well . I can truly say they all played a part in me reaching where I am today .
