We had the good fortune of connecting with Jim Finck and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jim, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Gratitude Organic Tea is my fourth business started from scratch, yet the first time attempting to bring a great product to the lips of people looking to improve the way they eat and drink. I recognized there is no ‘ready to drink” authentic green tea product on the market that was delicious, refreshing and good for you. The closest matches either contain an excess amount of added sugars and artificial sweeteners, or lack great taste. Gratitude Health is a lifestyle brand, with the concept and consideration for confidence, thoughtfulness, and thankfulness. A drink that is “for the good in you!” ™ and elicits smiles, I hope will be well received.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am severely unusual as I live with the true belief virtually anything can be accomplished. Clearly, not a brainiac I am apart from others as I have engaged in enterprises and risks the average joe typically would pass on. In truth, I view the majority of my life, as a life of happenstance fulfillment. Akin to the story of Forest Gump, I have not specifically questioned the twists and turns of my life but accepted them as necessary and provided appropriate commitment. Through persistence and with common sense we have survived and fostered viable enterprises including Gratitude Organic Tea whose story I pray will be beneficial to all who choose to live it.
Gratitude Organic Tea is a delicious and refreshing ready to drink tea that is “for the good in you.” That is, it provides healthy nutrients; but by name and tag line we want you to know you provide value to your community. You can feel confident about your being and use the energy of gratitude and our drink to travel with constant and abundant happiness.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Thankfully, along with the many blessings I have been awarded, I live in a piece of paradise. South Florida has been a wonderful place to raise a family. Natural resources that start with clean beaches along the Atlantic Ocean just west of the Gulf Stream provide a natural choice to spend time. Abundant sunshine and tempered weather, a visit from friend or family is an additional opportunity to accommodate playful activities. Tennis, golf, sailing the open waters, fishing, on-road and off-road biking are just a handful of outdoor activities. We can move indoors with the standard clubs offering many classes such as yoga, spin, dance to weightlifting, racquetball, table tennis and beyond. Both sunrises and sunsets can be part of the day with my friend.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
At the risk of sounding cliché, I have a background of highly challenged and stressful periods in my life, yet possibly through persistence and the belief of a positive energy; I am of the belief that yes, God watches over and with faith in him and our savior we can achieve, remain humble and pass on goodness. This is another way to say at times in my life a solution provider arrived just in time. 60 years old, blessed father of three, Gratitude Tea is my fifth entrepreneurial undertaking. One was a failed exercise, three have been valued operations that provided myself and those around me a sustainable living. The jury is still out with Gratitude Tea, but I envision this as the greatest opportunity to date to excel in the good out of everyone.
