Hi Marcela, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
Yes! I think we should all have one! Our quote or affirmation is “Never Give Up Stay Strong”, it is a phrase that after going through many health situations in life such as cancer, we feel that it not only helped us overcome it but also helped us to get out every day moving forward, pushing us to do things thinking not only of ourselves but of others as well, and we see the impact on people that we can reach by encouraging just by reading it, it is incredible. This phrase began when we started running, after Julio, my husband, fully recovered from cancer, and we saw in each race the effort of the people who went through this same situation who fight to overcome, and never give up, and have someone or something remind you of it always is priceless … Last year we launched this beautiful project that today is a success, our brand with this magical phrase, and today we not only make running T-shirts, we also make them with UPF 50+ UV Protection, because the sun is a wonderful natural source of Vitamin D but it is also very harmful and dangerous, and Julio is a Melanoma (skin cancer) survivor.

What should our readers know about your business?
Our first business is The Muse Lingerie, we founded it 18 years ago, we have worked very hard, without experience in the industry, we have gone through many setbacks that were for that same reason, lack of investment, and knowledge of the culture of this beautiful country that we love so much and that has given us the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. We distinguish ourselves from others firstly because we make different innovative products, we let our imagination run wild, we design without prejudice, and we think that we can all wear the same garment with style despite the different figures. We also distinguish ourselves because we create our products and we produce them in the USA, in this way we can do a better quality control and many times we make the production as orders come in; It does not depend on whether the product enters the country or not it is priceless, or expect production to arrive in 2 months, thing that happened to us, so this way we can do it any time. If we often have problems with supplies, but we have more options anyway to resolve the inconvenient. The truth is that the pieces we create are made with many details and dedication, we are very detailed and we like perfection. The road was not easy at all, but I think the most important thing is to believe in the product you are offering and of course in yourself. Another thing that I do not want to leave aside, is that you must evolve with the world, either with technology, the latest trends, and look for what people like ,need and looking for… You have challenges every day, some easier than others, but you must seek options and opinions many times to overcome them. and the most important thing is never give up. That’s why last year we created NEVER GIVE UP STAY STRONG. because other challenges that we have gone through as I said before, were health problems that we overcome along the way, and one of the learnings was to find strength and motivation every day, and we do the same today, we carry an inspiring message and motivating those who need them most with our t-shirts. and every race we have participated in was a beautiful learning of courage, bravery and love of life. Many times you will find those things that help you in business or teach you doing other activities, or such as traveling opens and expands your mind, and you will see other possibilities to deal with and solve daily setbacks. It will also help you to create new businesses like we did this year with Estrus Menswear, a somewhat contradictory name, but I love it because the man is seduced, feeling irresistible and manly, with organic and excellent quality of cottons. What we would like the world to know is that with effort, creativity, a positive attitude and a broad mind you can achieve all your dreams! and if one door closes another opens, do not be afraid, take your life and business as an adventure! Never give up, stay strong!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Our home is in Deerfield Beach, where we have one of the best beaches in South Florida, and where many people don’t know it, so I would take my friend to meet and enjoy this beauty of nature, with a relaxed atmosphere, is very Hippie Chic, and enjoy some cocktails and delicious dishes looking at the ocean in Patio Bar and Grill with live music. Another very beautiful place with delicious Italian dishes is in Piazza Italia on Las Olas boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, with a unique architecture and beauty ,and of course with amazing music that transports you to that wonderful place. and going down to Miami visit incredible places full of art such as Wynwood with extraordinary paintings or graffiti everywhere, and stop at 305 Pizza to delight one of the best pizzas in south florida, with a beautiful and cozy place with a lot of design and style. take photos of each wonderful street mural that connects us with urban art. the night lends itself to going to Astra Miami with a panoramic view of the city of Miami, food and fabulous drinks. very close is Miami Design District where you will see the galleries and contemporary arts, where the most renowned stores are and each one with all the best architecture and luxury. Midtown is also in the same area, enjoy a delicious meal at Tap 42 where it is a bar and lounge at the same time. An obligatory stop is bayside, take a tour of the famous house, and go shopping, especially on Sundays where they have food stalls or booth at front, and enjoy an Argentine barbecue at Panchito’s Argentinian Steak House with the best quality in meats. Lincoln Rd, Española Way and Ocean Drive in Miami Beach are places mandatory to visit. Whenever a friend or family comes, I never stop taking them to Mango’s Tropical Cafe in Miami Beach, food, drinks and a constant show that everyone loves with singers and dancers. a super fun place! I love to walk around and find hidden spots and try different types of food, the diversity is what makes South Florida fascinating!

We have been blessed with coming across incredible individuals and we deeply value keeping a healthy long term relationship with each and every one of our clients.
