Hi Maria Camila, putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
People don’t realize how hard it is to find a balance for yourself being an influencer , and for a long time it was very hard for me to let go of people’s opinion of me regarding , how i dress, look or act on social media. I was always afraid of rejection and criticism not only when I started my social media but growing up with my friends and family , but being exposed to being judged has taught me of the biggest lessons I’ve learned which is to be myself to the fullest. A lot of times I was made fun of for posting consistently and wanting to be an influencer, but it inspired me to now share my tips on social media growth and encourage people to show their true selves on social media. Although it was hard to show my insecurities and parts I didn’t like about myself to the rest of the world, I realized that being myself was what made my social media interesting and is what made me grow and be successful at what I do. Being genuine on social media is what keeps your page entertaining and alive because people don’t wanna see perfection anymore they wanna see valuable content.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
It definitely took a long time for me to get to where I am now and it wasn’t easy at all, it took a lot of strength to go through the hard times still being persistent and being consistent with my content everyday but with very hard work and dedication anything is possible. I had hard times where I didn’t have motivation to keep going or personal things would happen in my life that would want to make me stop but regardless of the situation or how I felt I kept going and still do because I know now that my effort does pay off and it will in a future as well. I’ve learned through out everything to always have a positive attitude and show a smile to the world , I want people to know that if I can do it , anyone can it just takes confidence and believing in yourself regardless of others opinions and putting in a little effort everyday to make your dreams come true just like mine did and more that I believe will in the future.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
On weekly bases I am a person that loves to visit new and aesthetic places around where I live . A lot of the places I get invited to or I like to go to are located in Miami where I do content days. In Miami there is a lot of culture from people that come from other countries so as a person that is foreign as well I love to try new foods from other countries and visit cultural places in the area. My favorite places to visit are Wynwood Walls, Brickell City , Miami Beach and Aventura Mall as well other places in Miami that I have fun in with my family and friends.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to recognize and credit my family specially my mom in part of this process as I keep growing my social media. She has always been supportive and there for me since day 1, and always believed in me and my life projects from a very young age when no one else did. I am currently 18 years old and feel like I’ve accomplished a lot of my dreams and more but I’m glad I had a hand to guide me through all the tough times through some of these experiences and a loving mom that truly believes I can make it far and be successful in whatever life path I choose to take
