Hi Martina, how do you think about risk?
I think that when there is risk that is where you have to aim. In life you always take risks, we also call it fears.
When acquiring this business there were many risks. I left my country to come look for new opportunities in the United States, I assumed the role of business owner at 22 years old without any knowledge, managed in a language, which is not my native language. The investment itself was a risk since you never know how good or bad it will turn out. But the important thing is to put enthusiasm and energy. Even if the results are not good, there is always learning, thanks to this one can grow and expand if used wisely.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
This business has been running since 1990 by the ex owner Patricia Fisher, who actually became an employee. I choose this business as i love animals and enjoy spending time with it. For me, my pets are my priority, and why not managing a place where i have to supervice and make sure that all animals feel conftable while getting their service.
At first i thought it was going to be not easy but simple. But it wasn´t. There were problems every day with every theme. There are many things to learn and take care of, and i wasnt prepared for it. In the few month i spent as a business owner and all the changes i´ve done, i have been always asking for help or searching for solutions. I have also experimented issues with professionals regarding legal papers, etc. It was really hard to find a good team to help me to manage everything. But honestly, i think that the most hard part was and is actually, the costumers. Starting to knnow them, making changes, i have been recieved super nice as super bad… but nothing to worry about, they just need to know me better.
Something i would like the world to know is that if you really desire something, go for it. No matter your age or knowledge, nobody borns knowing everything. Look at me, with 22 years old and cero experience, growing a business. Is all about attitude and constance. Of course i have my days where i want to close and throw everything to the trush, but it part of it. is falling and standing up again.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In this case is my Dad and Mom. Specially my dad who was the one that dontate the money to me for getting this opportunity. The help and guidance he gives me and the support of my mother to contain me in the most difficult moments.
