We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Fine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Honestly, it comes down to alignment and consistency.
I didn’t get results by doing something extreme—I got results by removing what was working against me and doubling down on what the human body actually needs to thrive. When I made that shift in my own life, everything changed—my energy, my physique, my mental clarity, and my hormones. I was able to overcome many of the health issues I once believed were genetic and something I’d have to live with long term.
Three years later, I’m still medication-free, symptom-free, and operating at a level I didn’t think was possible. I lost over 20 pounds of fat, gained over 20 pounds of lean muscle, and addressed issues like gut dysfunction, brain fog, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and focus challenges along the way.
That personal transformation became the foundation of my brand. I’m not teaching theory—I’m living it daily, and my clients see that. It builds trust because they know this isn’t based on trends or guesswork—it’s rooted in real-world results and consistent application.
The biggest mistake people make today is overcomplicating health. They’re stuck chasing quick fixes, supplements, or the next “new” thing, when in reality, the answer is often going back to what we’ve moved away from—real food, intentional movement, sunlight, quality sleep, and reducing the constant load of modern toxins.
The success of my brand comes from simplifying that message and helping people implement it in a way that fits their life. When people start to experience even small wins—better sleep, more stable energy, improved body composition—it builds momentum.
And once that momentum builds, everything starts to change. That’s when people realize their body was never broken—it just needed the right environment to function the way it was designed to.
That realization is what pulls people deeper into their healing journey—and that’s really what my brand is built on.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business, Ancestrally Healed, is built around a simple but often overlooked principle—when you align your life with how the human body is designed to function, health stops being something you chase and starts becoming your natural state.
What sets me apart is that I don’t approach health as a quick fix or a one-size-fits-all protocol. I focus on helping people remove what’s working against them while rebuilding a foundation based on real food, movement, sunlight, sleep, and reducing modern environmental stressors. It’s not about doing more—it’s about doing what actually works.
What I’m most proud of is that I live everything I teach. This isn’t theory—it came from transforming my own life first. That authenticity resonates with people. They don’t just hear the message, they see it in how I live and in the results my clients achieve.
A big part of my impact today also comes through my content. On Instagram (@ancestrally_healed) and YouTube, I share practical, no-fluff guidance that people can start applying immediately. I consistently hear from individuals who have improved their energy, body composition, and overall health just by implementing what they’ve learned from my free content alone—even before ever working with me directly. That’s something I’m incredibly proud of.
Getting to where I am today was far from easy. I had to navigate not only trial and error, but also skepticism and negative perceptions from people around me—including family and friends—who didn’t understand the path I was choosing. When you go against conventional norms, especially in health, it can feel isolating. But I stayed committed because I was seeing real results. Over time, those results spoke louder than any doubt.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that simplicity wins. The world is constantly pushing more—more products, more hacks, more complexity—but the truth is, the body responds best when you strip things back to what’s essential.
What I want the world to know is that your body is not broken. Most people have just been living in an environment that works against them for so long that dysfunction feels normal. I was told many of the conditions I was dealing with were “genetic” and something I would have to manage for life—autoimmune issues like psoriasis, along with gut issues, brain fog, anxiety, insomnia, and more.
But when I changed my environment—what I ate, how I lived, how I moved, and how I recovered—my body responded. Over time, those symptoms diminished and eventually resolved. That experience reshaped everything for me. It showed me that while genetics may load the gun, lifestyle and environment pull the trigger.
At the same time, my goal has never been to have clients rely on me forever. I don’t want to hold someone’s hand indefinitely—I want to give them the tools, understanding, and confidence to take ownership of their health on their own.
Most diets fail because people feel restricted, hungry, or disconnected from what they’re eating. This is the opposite. It’s about learning to enjoy real, nutrient-dense foods your body actually craves, while removing the ones that work against you—and then watching your body do what it’s designed to do.
Whether someone starts by following along on Instagram, diving into my YouTube content, or working with me directly, the goal is the same—to help them reconnect with how their body was designed to live and give them the tools to take back control of their health.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d show them a mix of what South Florida does best—sun, water, good food, and experiences that actually make you feel alive.
We’d start most mornings simple—sunrise at the beach, getting barefoot in the sand, moving a bit, and getting that early sunlight. It’s one of the most underrated parts of being here.
One non-negotiable throughout the week would be frequent visits to Marando Farms. It’s a staple for me. Their meats are grass-fed and finished, and the quality speaks for itself. They also have some of the best raw milk I’ve ever had—it honestly tastes like melted ice cream. It’s one of those places that reconnects you to what real food is supposed to be.
For meals out, I’d still keep things aligned with how I live but make it enjoyable—spots like Steak 954 or Takato for high-quality steak and seafood, focusing on simple, clean ingredients. And when we want something more casual, we’d find seed oil–free options or keep it simple with foods we know are going to leave us feeling good, not sluggish.
During the day, we’d spend a lot of time on the water—boating, paddleboarding, or just relaxing by the ocean. There’s something about being in or around the water here that resets you. I’d also take them through Las Olas for a mix of walking, shops, and just taking in the energy of the area.
We’d mix in some movement—maybe a lift, maybe a beach workout, or just long walks. For me, that’s part of enjoying life, not something separate from it.
For a change of pace, I’d take them out to the Everglades—raw, untouched nature and a completely different side of Florida that most people don’t experience.
Evenings would be a mix of great meals and relaxed environments. I’m not big on the typical party scene—I’d rather have a great dinner, good conversation, and actually enjoy the moment.
And throughout the week, the goal wouldn’t just be to “do things,” but to feel better while doing them—real food, movement, sunlight, and good company.
Because at the end of the day, the best experiences aren’t the ones that leave you drained—they’re the ones that leave you feeling better than when you started.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A big shoutout to my wife, who encouraged me to connect with Eduardo at Soul Acupuncture here in Fort Lauderdale. That conversation was a turning point—it set me on the path I’m still on today.
It opened my eyes to what truly supports the body versus what simply tastes good but works against it. Once I started removing the inputs that weren’t serving me and prioritizing what aligns with our biology—real food, proper lifestyle habits, and an ancestral approach—everything began to shift.
What most people experience when they make those changes is a noticeable reduction in symptoms, and in many cases, a complete resolution of issues they once thought were permanent.
