Meet Miosotis “Mio” Santana | Transformational Trainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Miosotis “Mio” Santana and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Miosotis “Mio”, what is the most important factor behind your success?
For me, success isn’t just about personal achievements or accolades; it’s about the impact we make and the lives we touch. From the very beginning, I’ve believed in the power of community, in the strength that comes from lifting each other up and standing together. It’s through these shared experiences, these moments of connection and support, that true transformation occurs. Being of service and creating community events like our Women’s Reproductive Health Event is not just a part of my journey but the very essence of it and I believe its the reason behind the success of my brand.
Central to my mission is the belief in the importance of passing down wisdom through the matriarchal line. In our Western society, this tradition has been eroded over time, but its significance remains undiminished. Research has shown that the loss of this intergenerational wisdom has left us disconnected from our roots, from the deep reservoirs of knowledge and strength that lie within us.
This wisdom isn’t just a collection of facts or theories; it’s a living, breathing legacy that holds the key to our collective healing and growth. It’s about tapping into the innate wisdom of our ancestors, drawing strength from their experiences, and honoring the resilience of generations of women who have come before us.
I firmly believe that women are the backbone of our societies. We are the nurturers, the caregivers, the pillars of strength upon which families, communities, and nations are built. When we empower women, when we uplift and support each other, we create a ripple effect of love and harmony that extends far beyond ourselves.
Being of service isn’t just something I do; it’s who I am. It’s the guiding force that drives me to wake up every morning with purpose and passion. It’s the reason I pour my heart and soul into creating events like our Women’s Reproductive Health Event – because I believe in the transformative power of community, in the magic that happens when we come together with open hearts and open minds.
So let us continue to stand together, to lift each other up, and to honor the wisdom of the women who have paved the way for us. Together, we can create a world guided by love, compassion, and empowerment – a world where every woman knows her worth and her power to change the world.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m Miosotis “Mio” Santana, and today I want to share with you my deeply personal journey of resilience, self-discovery, and transformation. It’s a journey that began when I was just four years old, a journey marked by pain, abandonment, and a relentless search for healing and fulfillment.
It all started when my parents divorced. In that moment, I felt like my world shattered. I believed that my dad left because he no longer loved me, and that I wasn’t valuable enough for him to stick around. Little did I know, that belief would shape my entire life, leading me down a path of dysfunction, numbing, and toxic patterns in every aspect of my life, including my career and relationships.
I spent years trying to numb the pain, seeking solace in religions, books, therapy, medications, counseling, and countless other avenues. Yet, despite my efforts, the deep pain within me persisted. It wasn’t until I delved into inner child work that I finally had a breakthrough. By facing the root of my pain and learning to love myself, I experienced a profound shift within me. It was a turning point that led me to my life’s purpose.
I realized that my journey wasn’t just about healing myself; it was about helping others who were suffering as I had. So, I committed myself to learning and growing, becoming certified as a transformational trainer. In 2018, I launched Divine Journey, a platform dedicated to helping others heal and transform their lives.
Through Divine Journey, I’ve had the privilege of running the Resilience Self-Love program ten times, guiding dozens of individuals on their own journeys of healing and self-discovery. Along the way, I’ve learned invaluable lessons about resilience and the power of human connection.
One of the key lessons I’ve learned is the importance of cultivating supportive relationships. When I was struggling, I didn’t have many people I could rely on for support. So, I sought out online mentors who inspired and guided me from afar such as Oprah Winfrey, Eckart Tolle, Wayne Dyer and Louise Hay. Their wisdom and encouragement helped me navigate some of the darkest moments of my journey.
Another crucial aspect of resilience is setting boundaries. During my darkest days, self-care felt like a luxury I couldn’t afford. But by setting boundaries and prioritizing activities that rejuvenated me, I began to reclaim my sense of well-being and agency.
With my clients, I focus on building resilience-building habits and practices that enhance their ability to bounce back from setbacks and challenges. We start small, setting achievable goals and celebrating every step of the journey. By practicing self-compassion and recognizing that setbacks are opportunities for growth, my clients learn to embrace their resilience and thrive in the face of adversity.
Today, I stand before you as living proof that resilience is not just about surviving; it’s about thriving. It’s about turning pain into purpose, darkness into light, and wounds into wisdom. And I’m here to tell you that no matter where you are in your journey, no matter how deep your pain or how daunting the road ahead may seem, there is hope. With resilience, self-love, and support, you can overcome any obstacle and create a life filled with purpose, joy, and fulfillment.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I read Eckart Tolle’s, “The Power of Now over 15 years ago and it changed the trajectory of my life. I remember the first time I tried reading it that my eyes rolled to the back of my head and I felt so exhausted I just had to close the book. This kept happening a few times but I didn’t quit. I kept trying to pick it up and read it, until finally I did something that I always do with magazines. For some reasons I never read magazines from beginning to end, I always open the last page and go through them from back to front. So this is what I did with the Power of Now. I started reading it from back to front and I was finally able to get through it and then after that I was able to come back and read it from the beginning. And I really attribute that book to me finally waking up to something so deep within me that I didn’t even know it was there. It was so deep within me that I was unaware of if completely but this book helped me to start to see it and to see life in a new way for the first time.
