We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia Diaz Naval from Endless Summer Photo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?

It took a world pandemic to reroute me into the path of a creative career. I have always been drawn to the arts; everything from design, painting and obviously photography. But I would pursue it lightly, more as a hobby than anything. With a decade long career as operations manager in the corporate world I did not have the time or energy to give my passion for photography a chance. When life was abruptly stopped and I was given the gift of time, I gave in 100% to my creative side and it just flourished.

I pursued photography because I love every aspect of it, the planning, the sessions, the editing. Attention to detail is a staple in my business, I help my clients bring their vision to life by immersing myself in their project, no matter how big or small. As a wedding and family photographer I thrive to create for them an heirloom that will transcend time. In return, I get to continuously push myself to create artistically, always looking for inspiration in other artforms.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

‘WHY’ I do what I do is at the core of my business. ‘WHAT’ I do is secondary.
I do not see my photography business as a simple exchange of service for profit.
When I am booked to photograph a family session, a weeding or event, I see the opportunity to provide an experience. I find it important to provide quality work with a meaningful and honest involvement, always giving every project my undivided attention.

I always strive to overdeliver, making myself available for the planning and creative process, providing guidance and support.

With my photography approach and style, I aim to capture a balanced combination of candid moments and composed stills. I believe in storytelling through soft, artistic photos that are effortlessly elegant.

And to inspire and be inspired, always.
