We had the good fortune of connecting with Nadia Kotsos and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nadia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?

Drink Juice Co. has been through a lot after 7.5 years of being in business. It’s really become a part of everything I am and I of it.

There is something so unique about all owner/operator businesses. There is nothing quite like it. I enjoy finding other small businesses as well – they are so full of love and passion that really comes through in their work.

The most important factor behind our success?
Kindness. That’s really all that it is. Genuine kindness and care. I explain this to every employee – kindness not just to customers, but to every business we work with, anyone who walks through the doors. Everyone is important and it’s important for me to make sure they know that too.

We have been through some hard times. There were definitely times when I didn’t think we’d make it.. but here we are, stronger than ever.

What should our readers know about your business?
Drink Juice Co. is a magical store. We are a cold-pressed and organic juice bar. Everything is made in-house, and I love that. We can make everything under this tiny roof.

We specialize in juice cleanses that are focused on the digestive system. Our method around creating recipes—making and mixing juices—is all different, and you can taste it. (You can see it in our profit margin as well.) Our juices are pure, and have either been created for my own healing journey, or for a client that has inspired me to create something for theirs. We have pure intentions and work intuitively to help anyone that needs it in our space.

Getting to where we are now definitely hasn’t been easy, but it was necessary. I opened this store blindly, and the only thing that pushed me through the tough times was my dad and his honesty. When he used to tell me I wasn’t working hard enough, I got offended. But, I changed the way I look at it and really started to put in work.

I did everything from a place of love and healing, and that is what Drink Juice Co. is all about. I truly don’t know anyone with a better juice than ours. Everything is made with a purpose, and we create juices for what they’re supposed to be: healthy and healing tonics.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
