We had the good fortune of connecting with Natalia Tautiva Vega and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Natalia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
i think the thoughest part was taking the decision to start posting content on social media. Taking the risk to expose myself and maybe be prepared to recived critics or comments from people i know and also stranger. But even with that fear i made it and i think it was worthy
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
when i was at school and all my childhood i was a high performance athlete, i was a swimmer, so ive loved sports since i was little. that love for sports was what made me start to study journalism because i have always wanted to work in the sports enviroment. Last year i created my social media @mas.formulasports where i talk about sports mainly formula 1. Currently im finishing my studies at university, i graduate this year but i still work in my social media. That personal project has opened some really cool and interesting oportunities. I started working as formula 1 commentator on streams, i write for three different websides and that has helped me to continue developing my carreer as sports journalist and also learn more and more .
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well i live in a small town in the country side near Bogota, Colombia, so most of the things to do here are in the nature. I would take them to hiking in the mountains and forest . We can go also to a lake or some small waterfalls. Then we can go to a nice restaurant and in the afternoon we can spend sometime in the small town walking on the streets or going to the movies.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I think there is not a specific person that inspired me to start creating content about Formula 1. but i would say my parents and brother because they were always and still are supporting me even if they dont understand a lot about the sport.
