We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Franzese and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nicole, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Balance has never been easy for me and has been a constant struggle. Before I started my career I became a wife and a step-mom while managing day-to-day life. I believe that work-life balance is an everyday practice that eventually, with good habits can become a lifestyle. It all starts with a choice and I believe that as an entrepreneur creating small habits led me to achieve work-life balance in where I am today. One of the many habitats that have kept me accountable is knowing how to manage my time.
What should our readers know about your business?
My goal has always been to break the 9-5 cycle of working in a corporate job. Unexpectedly, the pandemic helped push my ultimate dream come to life when I saw an opportunity to open my own business. Like any new business venture (especially during a global pandemic) it is never easy. Creating and running your own business is all about trial and error, but through the different challenges that I faced along the way I knew the most valuable asset to success is building connections within the industry. I never thought I would be where I am at such an early stage of my career. I have been fortunate enough to follow my passion and help my clients bring their ideas to life through design and architectural visualizations.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Miami is one of the most beautiful and unexpected cities to visit. When given the chance I like to visit South Beach, Brickell City Center and Coconut Grove. A couple of great places to eat is at La Bodega where they have a secret entrance to a bar in the back and their tacos are amazing. Miami is full of life and always count on having a good time.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I can honestly say that I have had the best support system throughout my journey from friends and family. Mostly, I would like to thank my husband, Patricio, as a partner he has given me the determination to follow my dreams and make them into a reality. Even when it seemed impossible and there were days I wanted to quit he gave me the tough love I truly needed to see it through and persevere.
