Hi Niurka, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Our thought process behind starting Medilight Center stemmed from a deep passion for helping individuals feel confident and empowered through aesthetic care. Both Nathaly Gerbino and I, Niurka Gómez, wanted to create a space that went beyond traditional beauty services—a place where people could experience transformative results backed by science and delivered with compassion. We envisioned Medilight as a center that blends cutting-edge technology with a personalized, human touch.

Additionally, we saw a growing demand for high-quality, non-invasive treatments in the Miami area. With our combined expertise and shared values, we knew we could meet that demand while setting a new standard for care in the industry. It wasn’t just about opening a business—it was about creating a brand synonymous with trust, innovation, and excellence in aesthetics.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At Medilight Center, we’re more than just an aesthetic clinic—we’re a space where science meets artistry to help our clients look and feel their absolute best. What truly sets us apart is our holistic approach to beauty and wellness. We combine cutting-edge technology with personalized care, ensuring that every treatment aligns with the unique needs and goals of our clients. Our signature treatments, such as non-invasive rejuvenation therapies, have become synonymous with trust, luxury, and results.

Getting to where we are today wasn’t easy, but it’s been incredibly rewarding. We started with a vision to redefine the aesthetic experience, and that vision has been our guiding light through every challenge. From building a loyal client base to navigating the complexities of running a business, every step has taught us valuable lessons. One of the biggest challenges we faced was ensuring that we maintained the highest standards of care while scaling our business. We overcame this by investing in continuous education, both for ourselves and our team, and by staying true to our core values of innovation, integrity, and compassion.

One of the lessons we’ve learned is the importance of resilience and adaptability. The beauty industry is constantly evolving, and staying ahead requires a willingness to learn, grow, and embrace change. We’ve also learned that success is deeply rooted in building genuine relationships—with our clients, our team, and our community.

bsolutely! I firmly believe that success is never a solo journey, and I owe so much to the incredible people and influences that have shaped my path. First and foremost, my business partner Nathaly Gerbino deserves immense recognition. Her unwavering passion, creativity, and dedication have been pivotal in building Medilight Center. Together, we’ve created something truly special.

I also want to thank my family, whose love and encouragement have been my anchor throughout this journey. Their belief in me, even during the toughest times, has been a constant source of strength.
