Meet Olivia Lambiasi | Olivia Lambiasi | Visual Artist & Painter

We had the good fortune of connecting with Olivia Lambiasi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Olivia, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
My relationship with art began through my aunt and my uncle, Elizabeth and Eduardo Prado, both accomplished artists. I was fortunate to grow up close to them, always surrounded by artistic environments and creative discussions. This exposure to art from a young age shaped my own journey and inspired me to pursue a career in the creative field.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My work is about exploring different forms of expression and creating unique pieces. Over the years, I’ve worked on canvas, luxury bags, shoes, murals, and other creative projects. This versatility allows me to continuously push the boundaries of creativity and offer fresh perspectives through my work.
The journey to where I am today hasn’t been easy. Navigating the art world, establishing myself professionally, and overcoming the challenges of being a young female artist were not without obstacles. But through resilience, staying true to my vision, and continuously learning, I’ve managed to overcome these challenges and grow in my career.
What I want the world to know about my art is that it’s not just about the final piece—it’s about authentic self-expression and the power of art to create meaningful connections. My greatest joy comes from knowing that my work has evoked positive emotions in others. I love that each person interprets it in their own unique way, and for me, the true beauty of art lies in that personal and varied perception.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt, my shoutout goes to my aunt, Elizabeth, and my uncle, Eduardo Prado. Both of them introduced me to the art world from a very young age. I grew up visiting their studio from around 2 or 3 years old, and they would take me to museums and art exhibitions. I was constantly surrounded by other artists and designers who were their friends, which deeply influenced my journey.
From a very early age, I was living and learning alongside them, and to this day, I turn to both of them for advice, doubts, and opinions about art. They continue to play an active role in my work, and there’s no doubt that I wouldn’t have achieved so much without their presence and support.
I feel incredibly fortunate to still be able to rely on them for guidance and inspiration.
