We had the good fortune of connecting with Oriane and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Oriane, what habits do you feel helped you succeed?
Consistency, Staying loyal to my core vision for ORIANE 1986, learning from other entrepreneurs, going back to the Love of creating whenever you face challenges and the Why you do it

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am very proud of the brand ORIANE 1986 and the product I created : Trouser which are incredibly comfortable and equally elegant. Pants, in my opinion, is the hardest piece of wardrobe to feel comfortable in and simultaneously the piece which can make you feel the most confident when you feel good in it.
It took several years to develop ORIANE 1986 pants and I am so proud of the product we created. Women loves it, and nothing is more beautiful than a woman feeling good in her skin.
Wearing (the) pants has never looked so feminine and empowering!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Definitely start with my favorite coffee shop in whole NYC at Interlude cafe in Tribeca, followed by a walk down the west side highway (favorite place in the city). A little shopping adventure through my favorites stores downtown: La Garconne, the Webster and Celine in Soho. Mid day sweat at Modo Yoga for hot yoga followed by Lunch at ABCV (best vegan restaurant!) Afternoon walk through Central Park, followed by some Madison Avenue strolling, a coffee at Ralph’s on 72nd (most magnificent block). Quick change rest and change at home for dinner at Casa Cipriani!

My mentor Louise Amar, who is a high performance spiritual mentor and taught me how to turn the challenges in my life into great opportunities! She is a beam of light and leader in her field
