We had the good fortune of connecting with Patti Nachmann and Alicyn Muñoz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patti & Alicyn, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind our success is love. It’s a recurring theme in our business; a bride falls in love, gets engaged, and falls in love with a dress in our shop and a lot of times with us. We love meeting brides,hearing their love stories, and helping them find the perfect gown for their special day. The love we have for our brides and what we do is genuine and they can see that. Our reviews on multiple platforms speak for themselves.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The thing that sets us apart from our competition is our dedication. We didn’t open this business exclusively for the money. We both had established careers before we opened the shop. The reason for us opening the store was because we both have a great work ethic and wanted to use it to help women feel their best. During the time our shop has been open we have had a car drive through the storefront window and survived a pandemic. So while we have faced some challenges we never failed to put our customers first or sacrificed the service our brides are used to. This is something we are incredibly proud of. We want everyone to know that we enjoy celebrating with the bride when she has her special moment. Sometimes we want to pinch ourselves because we get to do this for a living!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Definitely the beach! For a week long trip, I may suggest a quick drive to The Keys or spending an entire day in Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Wine Garden in Ft. Lauderdale has become one of my favorite places to enjoy a great evening. Their wine and food selection is small but amazing. The Promenade in Coconut Creek is another favorite area for dinner and drinks. Cooper’s Hawk, Bar Louie or Etho’s never disappoints. For music and great drinks, Social Room in Hollywood is where you can find me.🙂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Our brides: we would 100% not be where we are without them. We have a relationship with our brides that extends past the wedding day. One of our bridal stylists Melanie purchased her wedding dress from us and then became one of our most valuable staff members. When we do a photo shoot and need a model we have a list of beautiful gals to choose from who follow us on social media. We have also sold dresses to every sister in an entire family and been referred to by their friends. We are so grateful to our beautiful brides for their continued support.
