Meet Peter Coissy | Executive Producer/ Mogul of the Century

We had the good fortune of connecting with Peter Coissy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Peter, we’d love to hear more about your end-goal, professionally.
My End goal is leaving a legacy for my kids and people I love. My career will end with me potentially being the President of the United States or someone in position to lead this Country and people to what this Country was built on and that’s freedom and faith.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being able to create something is magical, you are able to leave something behind and have people remember who you were is breath taking. I Own a Record Label called Kinggkong Records and was actually inspired by Dj Khaled we are both from Miami but my mission is to help local artist get to the recognition they deserve because here in Miami we have many of talented superstars that’s being over looked. The music industry isn’t for the weak it’s a tough world out here and if you don’t have it in you to survive it will destroy you thank God I have a tough skin. My Brand represents a known Gorilla named Kingg Kong who Is an ultimate Protector and that’s how I see myself. I am someone who is willing to protect my community and help my city and surrounding area flourish. I didn’t really have anyone to help me growing up so I vow to be that person that many people can look up to and follow my lead to greatness.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well one of my favorite places to visit because of the food and drink is Tootites every ine goes there for fun and the vibes. Other places is Liv that’s club is one of the most popular clubs we have in Miami and Story. We have so many restaurants here so it would be a long week of eating out and some of the places are Bar One, Komodo, Eddie V’s, Mastro’s, Papi Steak, Cooper Hawk, Ruth Chris and most Importantly most of the restaurants on Nicki Beach.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have a few people who are the reason I grew to the Man I am today and that’s Eric Thomas for giving me the motivation I need to wake up my soul and do what God has called me to do. Also Rick Ross for proving that as long you believe in yourself and work without excuses you will get to your destination and 50 Cent for reminding me no matter how you grew up without a father and a mother you can strive to do something better then what you went through as a child.
