We had the good fortune of connecting with Queen Sandruh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Queen, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned on this journey was to provide myself with grace. It’s easy to beat yourself up as an Entrepreneur looking at others and their journey and thinking that you are behind or something. I’ve beaten myself up many times looking at the hands of others and how they handled their blessings.. looking to them to somehow show me how to handle mine. In the long run I had to learn that I deserve grace. I am not where I once was and that’s okay. I am not where I want to be yet and that’s also okay. My only job in this life is to keep showing up for myself and to allow God to do his thing on the other side. My many testimonies in itself shows my favor and the more that I spend time speaking down on my journey, the more I’m speaking down on myself. I’ve come too far for God to leave me empty handed especially when he’s never done it before. Everytime I’m back to “square one”, I’m there for the first time and in return having that mindset allows me to enjoy the process, something no one teaches you to do. Even if you are here for the 6th time trying to make it happen, it’s still your 6th FIRST time there. Grace is needed in this industry, grace is needed in your everyday life.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

I am a book of many traits and it took me 27 years to accept that of myself. We are taught to find ‘one’ thing you are good at and make something out of it. However it’s possible to find many things to be good at and make something out of it all. I hope that people see that I am doing everything under the sun with this one life of mine and to have the courage and faith in themselves to believe that they can too.

My story isn’t the prettiest and that makes the journey even more worth it. I still live in the hood and hear gunshots going off all hours of the night, something that is out of my control currently. I am a proud First Generation Haitian-American that has already changed the course of my family tree. I aim to keep showing others that nothing is too big or too much for you to do. If God gave you the vision, he will give you the plan Matt 7:7.

I have an unfiltered podcast called Queen’S Table (IG: Theofficialqueenstable) where I talk about anything from what’s going on in today’s world all the way down to personal questions and topics being asked of me to talk about. That has always been my first love and that passion has always existed in me. However as I’ve gotten older I’ve found love in other areas that I am also so passionate about.

In 2020 I opened my online brand BÉL that has become my new baby. At first we were catering to our #BELQueens who wanted to feel beautiful no matter what size they were. However I received a huge request to cater to Men and thought to myself if we are going to go bigger than we need to go better and harder. I’m currently in the process of re-launching my brand to cater to not only men and women but to also update my brand size run to go all the way up to 3X. The feedback that I’ve received so far from my samples have been everything to me and I cannot wait to see the final product. We are aiming to relaunch mid 2022 So follow us on IG: Belfanmgh for more updates on that.

Last year I started writing my first book “I Don’t Know It All But I Know Enough: You Don’t Need Help, You Need Guidance”and that was something I never thought I would actually make possible. I started accepting pre-orders however there was a family matter I had to focus on which delayed production. I’ve rewritten my book a few times over these past few months to show my life in real time. To show my testimonies in real time. To show God’s love in real time and I’m super excited to see how many lives we change with our book. The goal is to release “IDKIABIKE” Mid 2022 as well so we are coming for everything this year. All of the seeds that we planted last year, God willingly the world would be able to see this year.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So to be completely honest I just started actually enjoying myself and where I am at in my life this past last year. I have a good girl friend of mine who is a huge foodie (IG: Girlsjustwanttohavefood) and she made it her mission to have me step outside of my bubble. If I was to go somewhere to enjoy myself and have a good time Ghostbar near the Hard Rock on Thursdays are everything! It’s their R&B Night and they do set the vibes in there. Their food is EVERYTHING! South beach and Downtown Ft Lauderdale by the beach is always a move as well. ROCKBAR has the vibes and drinks. I tagged her IG because she has led me in the right direction and I trust her judgement. Take a look for yourself and let her know Queen sent you.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I don’t have just one person to shout out because my support system is too large to buckle down to just a few names. To those who have heard me cry and offered a listening ear or even cried with me. To those who I was able to bounce off my ideas and first looks to. To those who listened while I talked about my frustrations and problems even if they didn’t know how to help. To those who felt drawn to reach out and give me words of encouragement when God knew I needed it the most. To those who live in Broward, Tampa, Charlotte NC and everyone in between THANK YOU! Whether that was buying my clothes or pre-ordering my book. Whether that was giving me a place to feel safe when I felt uneasy or even those who have tuned into Queen’S Table over the years even with my many hiatuses, I AM HERE BECAUSE OF YOU ALL! There was not one person’s role in my life that has outshined anyone else because when I needed someone, someone was ALWAYS there for me. Most importantly though, the biggest shoutout goes to God who has laid a table before me that I’ve been able to maintain due to those who he has surrounded me with. I am nothing without my community and I am everything with my circle.
