We had the good fortune of connecting with Reinhard Nabongo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Reinhard, how has your background shaped the person you are today?
Am from Kenya, my background and upbringing impacted my life positively in various as a music artists to understand the culture and lifestyle of people and also In respecting elders in the society

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Talking about my art, as a music producer and also an artist, and what has set me apart from others, is because I have tried to always be real in whatsoever I do when I it comes to music and not being fake. Cause I see a whole lots of people try to immitate and to be someone else most especially when it comes to production of music and singing, but I make sure whatever I do, I make time to be creative and bring the best that no one has in them. What am mostly proud of about myself being a music artist is that, I see myself alive each day and new inspiration keeps coming even as I make music. Getting to where I am today was God’s grace, and it wasn’t that easy but I must say, that no road is ever smooth as long we never keep pushing, the gate will always be open for a new things. Overcoming the roadblocks for me in the music line, was through patience, perseverance and humility. The lessons I have learnt along my way in music, Is to always have a listening ear and be slow to speak. I WANT the world to know that no matter what you do to achieve your dreams in life always put God first and take time in whatever you do and don’t be to quick to move. For my brand and myself, As a dancehall music artist that I am, I try to be me and no one else.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Wow. If my best was visiting my area, and for me making it a lively and fun place for them all, I will definitely be ready to take them to the ZOO, where animals are kept and also have them riding BIKES with me, and showing them good and lovely African restaurant with a Bit of INTER-CONTINENTAL DISHES, even as they take time to enjoy the good taste of African. Also I sure will have them visit the BEACH, and good LOUNGES to party and have chilled drinks.
