We had the good fortune of connecting with Robenson Lauvince and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Robenson, what is the most important factor behind your success?
There are many factors that play a role in my success, my dedication of remaining consistent and authentic, which is a humble characteristic that keeps me grounded. My team and family are perhaps the most notable; in my surroundings are always people who are so talented and excel in their crafts, they make the load much lighter to carry and the work possible. To top it all off, having a supportive family who supports my work and pushes me daily is extraordinary. Success for me would not be the same without them.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My Journey as a filmmaker is quite interesting. My story started since I was a little kid. I used to gather peers in the neighborhood, give them imaginary roles while pretending to be a director filming them in their acts. Fast forward to graduating high school, as my passion for filmmaking increased, and I purchase my first camera from a yard sale. I enrolled at Palm Beach Film school where I thrived and gained a ranking in the top 3 filmmakers in the class. It was an uneasy challenge, but with great determination, and persistent achieving my goals seemed tangible, anything was possible. In this journey I learned that there always will be the distraction that creeps in to take away your focused, but your reaction through the experience will shape where you go from there, it can shape your success. So, remaining focus on your goal is the key to reaching your goals and succeeding in your craft.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
South Florida is full of life in finding fun activities. I would definitely suggest any activities on the beaches and water like a boat ride, or fishing. For the remaining of the trip we would discover new places together to eat, drink, and hang out. A little adventure will make the trip more interesting.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My mother deserves all of the recognition for where I am today from where I started, which is why I always dedicate my success to her. At a very young age my mother introduced and instilled a drive in me to push forward no matter how challenging things may seem. When I lost my mother a few years ago, my urge to succeed became stronger, her voice and advice echoes in my mind. In my field, I’ve encounter some amazing organizations, and leaders that contributes to the height of my success story: Unfold Perception, Belgamee, and the entire Clearshot Entertainment team.
