We had the good fortune of connecting with Romina Martinez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Romina, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
Discipline is one of the most important habits that I have learned throughout this whole process. Being positive is also super important when you want to achieve a goal, keep pushing evening if it’s difficult, being persistent. And always work hard if you want something.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m proud of being able to achieve my goals in a new country, creating a fitness community that trust in my knowledge and in me as a person. It was not easy, not at all, but I persisted and I was able to get where I am know
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Midtown is one of my favorite by far in Miami, you have a little bit of everything and Wynwood is also near it to take some cool pics. My favorite beach is in Bal harbor, so I will absolutely take her there, and buy some açaí bowl.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My daughter and my husband were an important support during my coaching trip, they were and are always next to me in every step I have to make. I have to give a special mention to every person that took or take a class with me, because I will not be who I am if they wouldn’t trust in me. An amazing book that I would recommend to everyone because it helped me is “Atomic Habits” by James Clear, because, taking about habits, this book will guide you on how to achieve that good habits to achieve your goal.
