Meet Russi Wachtel | Breathwork Facilitator | Life Force Activation

We had the good fortune of connecting with Russi Wachtel and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Russi, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I began my career as a registered nurse and owner of an IV drip clinic. I truly loved the work, it was fulfilling to help people feel better physically and to be part of their healing journey. But over time, I started to feel something was missing. I found myself craving a deeper kind of connection, one that went beyond fixing symptoms or offering temporary relief.
I wanted to meet people soul to soul – to hold space for the parts of them that didn’t show up on lab results. I was being called to support others not just physically, but emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.
Along the way, I realized I had been overlooking one of my greatest gifts: my natural ability to hold space with deep presence and compassion. Because it came so effortlessly to me, I didn’t recognize its power at first. But once I did, everything shifted.
Breathwork became the bridge. It offered a way for me to guide people inward – into their bodies, their truth, and their own healing. It taught me that the answers we seek are often already within us and we just need space, safety, and breath to access them.
Now, I use Breathwork to help others come back to themselves – to release what no longer serves, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and remember who they truly are.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My work is all about guiding people back to themselves. I facilitate transformational Breathwork journeys and energy work sessions that help individuals release old stories, reconnect with their bodies, and remember their own inner wisdom. What sets my work apart is the depth of presence and safety I offer.
What I’m most proud of is that I’ve created something that is both deeply aligned with my soul and truly supportive for others. People often leave my sessions saying they’ve never felt so connected to themselves, or so deeply held and that’s what excites me most: the realness, the rawness, the breakthroughs that happen when someone feels safe enough to just be.
Getting here wasn’t easy. I started as a registered nurse and owner of an IV drip clinic, and while I loved helping people physically, I started to feel disconnected. I craved deeper conversations, deeper healing, deeper presence. I knew there was more. It took courage to pivot – to let go of the hustle, the titles, and the familiar and step into the unknown. There were doubts and financial uncertainty, but I trusted the pull in my heart. I knew I was meant to serve in a different way.
What I want the world to know about my work and my story is this: true healing doesn’t come from fixing – it comes from remembering. Remembering who you are beneath the noise, the roles, the pressure. My work is here to support that remembering. To help people breathe their way back to themselves, and to offer a space where they feel deeply supported on every level: body, mind, heart, and soul.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to visit, I’d create a week full of soul-nourishing moments. We’d walk Surfside Beach at sunset, take a pottery class with Avigayil (@claywithlove), grab Peels ice cream, and check out events at the Bandshell. We’d drop into a Breathwork session led by yours truly, enjoy lunch at Planta, kayak at Oleta, relax at The Standard spa, and catch the sunset at South Pointe Park. The perfect mix of play, presence, and connection – everything I love about South Florida!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Shoutout to my sister Mooky, walking a similar path of healing, breaking old patterns, and learning the tools to support others in their own growth. It’s been powerful to grow side by side.
Grateful for the Inner Method and The Breath Is Good, both played a big part in my journey with life force activation and Breathwork.
And to all my clients- a massive thank you. They are the reason I do this work. Their courage, openness, and trust mean everything.
