We had the good fortune of connecting with Sabrina Mitson, PA-C and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sabrina, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success has been my unwavering drive and determination. From a young age, I was captivated by science and enjoyed artistic activities, which naturally led me to the field of aesthetic medicine. I discovered the Physician Assistant profession in high school and knew it was the path I wanted to pursue. I got ahead by completing many college credits early and attended the University of Florida, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Health Science in just three years. During this time, I discovered my true passion for aesthetics through shadowing, which reassured me of my career path and led me to complete my Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies.
I became a board-certified Physician Assistant after completing the rigorous PA program at Florida International University, where I was trained in each medical specialty but was still drawn to aesthetic medicine. Breaking into the aesthetic field was challenging, but my persistence and passion for aesthetics enabled me to overcome obstacles and undergo extensive training.
In the ever-evolving field of aesthetic medicine, staying ahead requires relentless effort and a commitment to continuous learning. This drive has pushed me to constantly improve my skills, stay updated with the latest techniques and treatments, and provide the best possible care for my patients.
This determination to excel and make a positive impact has fueled my journey and contributed significantly to my success. Each day, I strive to enhance my patients’ natural beauty and make a positive impact on their lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, there are definitely some spots I wouldn’t want them to miss. To start, I’d love to take them to a yoga class at Mimi Yoga. For lunch, we’d head to Lido Bayside at The Standard Hotel in Miami Beach to enjoy the waterfront views. After that, we could explore Brickell City Centre to do some shopping. We’d end the day at Klaw Rooftop for happy hour, enjoying great food, drinks, and a beautiful view.

On the weekend, we’d explore Coconut Grove, and definitely make a visit to the farmers market. For brunch, Sadelle’s is a must-visit spot. We’d also spend a relaxing afternoon at the beach in Key Biscayne, soaking up the sun. Lastly, we’d have to dine at my favorite sushi spot, Uchi.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to Selfie Aesthetic. This woman-owned business is approaching its 5-year anniversary, and it has been such a pleasure working here and learning and training with the best. The support and mentorship I’ve received at Selfie Aesthetic have been instrumental in my growth and success. We are dedicated to empowering our patients to look and feel their best, and I am grateful to be part of such an inspiring and supportive team.
