We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Caicedo & Erica Quince and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sarah Caicedo & Erica Quince, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
We wanted to create not only a thriving business but a creative space for anyone that visits to feel at home.

What should our readers know about your business?
We have many things that set us apart the one thing that stands out is our dedication to our team and their continuing education. We pride ourselves in growing our team from the inside so each member has constant growth and in turn meticulous knowledge. We have already seen tremendous growth in our team which is what we are currently most proud of.

Its never a walk in the park building a business, it takes the usual, dedication, determination and commitment. You have to be lazer focused on the short term goals then long term goals and always be thinking three steps ahead. Overcoming challenges we believe is helpful when you have a partner to lean on, brainstorm and validating ideas we have together. Seeing everything come to life makes you think a little less about the challenged, leaving the process, fun, creative and rewarding.

The lessons come when problems arise and these lessons have made us stronger and better business owners. Overcoming any issues is easy when you try to find the solutions to any problem instead if dwelling on them.

We pride ourselves on our passion for the business and creating happiness in anyone that we meet. As stylists, our jobs are very psychological and to be able to meet and be able to do what we love to do while making people feel beautiful is a power of its own and we want our brand to emulate that.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We love our neighboring restaurant Dōma. Not because they are our neighbors but because of its amazing experience. From the service, to the food and the drinks. It’s a must!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Our lovely business mentor Aisha Jalil
