We had the good fortune of connecting with Sasha Williams and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sasha, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
The quote , “There is no growth in the comfort zone” by Jocko Willink is my favorite quote of all time. I literally live by this quote. It wasn’t until I decided to get out of my comfort zone that my whole life changed. I decided that I was no longer going to be worried about what people think of me. I decided that I was going to chase my dreams and my dream career no matter how uncomfortable I may feel.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started my blog about 3 years and I had no idea what I was doing. I just knew that I was ready to share my fashion, travel, and lifestyle with whoever wanted to listen. I created my website and just started to write blogs on things that I thought were interesting and people would enjoy reading. I am very excited about my growth in the last year. After deciding to be consistent earlier this year I gained about 20,000 followers on Instagram and Tiktok. I am also excited about the new opportunities that have come due to my growth. Growing my platform and brand is one of the hardest thing that I have ever done. Hardest thing was for me was to keep going, even though I felt like no one was reading my blogs or liking pictures. I learned that you have to believe in yourself, even if no one else does. I want the world to know that I if I go after my dreams so can you.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
First place that we are stopping is The Lapis spa at the Fontainebleau for some R&R. I absolutely love all of the amenities their spa has. You can literally spend the whole day there. After our day of relaxation I would take her to the Strawberry Moon for some drinks and dinner. Their swordfish kabob is amazing. Then we are heading to “Brick” in Wynwood for late night fun. We would definitely check out places Papi Steak, Miami design district, and Jaya through out the week.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The only thing that keep me going is my son. I want to show him to go after his dreams, no matter how crazy or outrageous they may sound. I would like to dedicate this shoutout Christian, my one & only.
