We had the good fortune of connecting with Sebastian Guerrero and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sebastian, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Our overall drive and commitment to making high quality music that reflects our cultural experience here in Miami is probably the most important factor behind our success. We stay dedicated to being in the studio and always writing new ideas. We all come from different musical backgrounds and experiences and it’s helped us develop a fusion of styles. I think that’s what people enjoy most about our performances.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
All of us here at Clean Cut are extremely passionate about music and we all come from very different backgrounds. We all have different influences that come together in a gumbo. We try to represent our cultural experience here in Miami. It took years of individual dedication to get us to where we are today. Some of us have been musicians for over 20 years. There’s been so many challenges that have represented themselves through our journey, but our friendship and determination has a lot of persevere every time. We’re eager to spread a story of love, unity and compassion for our community.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start by taking them to North Beach were we would spend all morning and early afternoon. I would then take them to a performance at the Miami Beach Bandshell and we would end the night having Sushi at Katana.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give you a huge shoutout to Good Company! Rachel Lili has been curating some amazing events around Miami and she’s building a community like no other. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to shine with you
