Hi Selena, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
One of the best kept secrets about the industry is how you could leverage your career/business through your event strategy. Having a well-structured event sends a message to others that your operations are in order. How your event operates show’s structure. This also sets the standard of your expectations. If you are known to produce quality every time, people will be willing to pay for the peace of mind. The cherry on top to using your event as leverage is; how you structure your event can also equal more money in your pocket because, it could be written off on your taxes. So, it makes sense to host a lavish launch event. Word of mouth is one of the best marketing tools in this industry.

We are your best kept secret. What we offer goes beyond your event date. Having been in the event industry for over 15 years, we have created connections with hundreds of vendors as well within the Tri-County area.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I happen to be that friend you take with you on vacation who may risk your life a little bit because she signed everyone up to going ziplining at 8:00 am, but when in Rome, let it be a good time! Let’s find a random spot to float on the intercoastal or a fresh spring to jump into. How about we grab some tacos and watch the sunset from the pier. We could probably grab a couple of beers in the art district and listen to a local band play. Grab a cup of coffee and a yoga mat and we can namaste. What ever we do it is about the moment and enjoying every bit of it. You can celebrate big or celebrate small but life is to be celebrated. We will check all of the local website and underground bulletin boards to see what our options are because we plan. We will already know the dates of the big festivals because hopefully, we are part of the planning. Be ready to check off a few items on that bucket list. It will be an adventure!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My family happens to be a big part of everything I do. They are my “why” so shoutout to them! The children keep my ideas fresh while my husband helps me figure out the logistics. Without my family I have no idea how I would have started. All the women groups that have formed during quarantine kept me encouraged and feed me knowledge from their experiences. Their support has been amazing. For all those leaders who took me under their wing and showed me what great operations looked like, I am forever grateful for the wealth of knowledge and trust. To the people who continue to believe in me I say “Hola Mi Gente!”
