We had the good fortune of connecting with Shana Benchetrit and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I spent many years working for my father’s company, and while it was both challenging and rewarding, I felt a strong desire to embark on my own journey. Starting a business with my husband was an exciting opportunity to prove—to myself and others—that I could succeed independently and build something of my own.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My journey began years ago as an idea that stayed with me for a long time. Having always worked in the art business as an art dealer, I developed a deep understanding of the market. Over time, I noticed a gap—there was a lack of exclusive, high-end sculptures or artworks inspired by lucky charms and positive symbols, something that has always fascinated me. This realization sparked the idea to create something truly unique.

With my husband, who graduated from a prestigious architecture and design school in Paris, we began designing a sculpture that we would be proud to share with the world. Being captivated by the symbol of the eye throughout my life, it became the foundation of our first creation.

Creating art hasn’t always been easy. Transitioning from being an art dealer to becoming a creator myself brought its own challenges, from refining the technical aspects of our sculptures to ensuring they resonated with our vision. But each challenge taught us resilience, creativity, and the importance of staying true to our values.

What sets our work apart is the blend of meaning and artistry. Each piece is more than just a sculpture—it carries a story, a message of positivity, and a connection to symbols that inspire and protect. I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come, and I’m excited to continue creating pieces that speak to people on a deeper level.

Our brand represents a passion for art with purpose, where luxury meets intention. We want the world to see that art can be both beautiful and meaningful, evoking emotions and offering a sense of connection through its symbolism.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d start by taking her to Wynwood—it’s an absolute must-see! We’d have lunch at one of my favorite spots, Yann Couvreur, and then spend time exploring the Wynwood Walls and the surrounding area, soaking in the vibrant street art and creative energy that makes it so special.

We’d also spend a day in South Beach, relaxing by the turquoise waters and strolling along Ocean Drive to admire the iconic Art Deco architecture. For a special treat, we could head to a rooftop bar like Juvia to enjoy some drinks while taking in the breathtaking views. Another stop would be the Design District, a hub for art, luxury shopping, and exceptional dining. It’s also where our gallery is. Opera gallery. A beautiful gallery to visit! We could explore the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) and then savor a delicious Mediterranean dinner at Mandolin Aegean Bistro, a cozy and charming spot perfect for unwinding.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d definitely dedicate my shoutout to my family and close friends. From the moment I shared this project with them, they were incredibly supportive and excited for us. Many even said it wasn’t surprising that my husband and I would take on something like this, given our long-standing love for symbols, good vibes, and lucky charms. Talking with the people we care about made this project feel even more meaningful and natural for us to pursue.

I’d also like to give a special thanks to my husband. We built this project together as a team, and without his unwavering support and partnership, I wouldn’t have been able to turn my dream into a reality.
