Hi Shanique, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I would have to say the most important factor behind my success with Upper Class Hair is the driving force behind the brand. I am extremely passionate about my company and seeing it grow. I strive to provide high quality extensions for Upper Class which i have sourced for years. Customer service and customer experienced is tailored to guaranteeing our customers are satisfied and purchase again. Upper Class Hair ‘s success is a direct reflection of effort, consistency, and passion.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
In 2020, in the midst of the pandemic I decided to pose a solution to a dilemma many of my customers were having, which was the inability to get their extensions they purchased from Upper Class Hair installed due to quarantine. Wigs On Demand was created to give Upper Class Hair customers access to wig options to alleviate the need for a stylist. This ability to constantly answer the needs of our consumers sets us apart from other hair extension companies. Upper Class Hair also released our hair care line that is made of 100% natural and organic herbs & essentials oils, Herbalistique Hair Care, which I am very excited to see expand! I started Upper Class Hair in 2016 and it has not been easy especially since the coronavirus pandemic but we made it this far through consistency. The biggest lesson i have learned along this journey is great customer service can take your business very far. I want the world to know how much value we at Upper Class Hair put on providing a quality product.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Early in life I was driven and always knew i wanted to be successful but never had a plan on how i would make that reality. But when i had my first child, my daughter Kennedy, It became instinctual. My daughter was born with a very rare brain condition which led to many doctors visits, therapies, and surgeries so i knew from infancy that have a regular job would be impossible to have. I started my company so i could make my own schedule and be free to take her to everything she needed. I had no other option other than Upper Class Hair being successful which made me work that much harder. My daughter inspires me to keep going each day just as she does!
