Hi Shareese, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Starting my business wasn’t just about skincare — it was about purpose. I’ve always believed that beauty is more than skin deep, and I wanted to create a space where people felt seen, cared for, and radiant from the inside out. My thought process was rooted in passion, healing, and a commitment to helping others feel confident in their own skin. I took a leap, invested in myself, and built Logan Skincare to be more than a service — it’s a lifestyle, a community, and a reflection of my journey as a woman, esthetician, and future cosmetic nurse.

What should our readers know about your business?
Logan Skincare is more than a beauty business — it’s a sanctuary rooted in transformation, empowerment, and care. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of both skin and soul. I combine results-driven treatments with genuine connection, and that’s what keeps my clients coming back.

I’m most proud of the brand’s growth and the way it’s evolved alongside me. Starting as a solo esthetician with a vision, I built Logan Skincare with grit, prayer, and persistence. It wasn’t easy — I’ve faced burnout, financial obstacles, and moments of self-doubt — but I pushed through with faith and a deep belief that I was called to serve through beauty.

Each challenge became a lesson: to trust the process, value community, and never compromise on my standards or vision. I’m now expanding into cosmetic nursing and launching an education platform to mentor the next wave of beauty professionals.

What I want the world to know is this: Logan Skincare isn’t just about glowing skin — it’s about healing, confidence, and creating the life you dream of. I’m building a legacy, and this is just the beginning

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami for the week, I’d plan the perfect mix of luxury, culture, and local gems. We’d start the trip with brunch at Mandolin Aegean Bistro — it’s charming, delicious, and the ambiance is everything. Then we’d unwind with facials at Logan Skincare, of course, followed by a relaxing beach afternoon at Soho Beach House or a chic pool day.

For dinner, we’d hit Zuma, Sea Spice, Catch, Sparrow, Prime 112 or Papi Steak depending on the mood — each one brings its own vibe. We’d definitely make time for a yacht day through Ghost Yachts at Miami Beach Marina and a stop at Joia Beach for sunset drinks and dancing. On another day, we’d explore the Design District for shopping and art, and maybe even catch a gallery event or live music at The Standard.

Sunday mornings are perfect for a Pilates class at Form50, or Mimi yoga, followed by a smoothie run and spiritual reset at The Sacred Space. Miami is full of energy, style, and soul — and I love showing it off through a week of great food, beauty, and unforgettable experiences.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my incredible mother — my rock, my biggest cheerleader, and the woman who taught me the power of love, resilience, and showing up with grace no matter what. Her unwavering support has shaped the woman and entrepreneur I am today. I also want to shout out Lauren Foster, Dr. Gallo, and Erin Newberg — your belief in me, encouragement, and wisdom have each played such a meaningful role in my journey. I’m deeply grateful. And to every client who trusted me with their skin, every mentor who poured into me, and my community who continues to believe in my vision — Logan Skincare exists because of all of you.
