Hi Shaunte’, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I definitely can say risks are challanges for sure! Risks have always played a major role in my life. For one, moving to Florida was a risk.
Im originally from Illinois and it was a last minute decision to move to either Florida or California.
I packed whatever could fit in my car and me and my dog hit the road to Florida!
I didnt have anything lined up nor did I know anyone in Florida. I took that risk to start over completely.
Aside from that risk, after a couple years I took another risk, stoppped working jobs completely and became a small business owner/entrepreneur of a spa called LaGoddess Spa and now a skin care line called JoTé FruitCare.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
As a female small business owner and entrepreneur, my work entails a great amount of effort as well as roles I play. Not only am I the owner of both my businesses, I am also the marketer and advertiser of both my spa and skin care line. I am the creator of both websites. Maker and Creator of my brand JoTé FruitCare Natural FruitBased Skin Care Line.
The Massage Therapist and Esthetician at my spa. My own personal assistant and Vendor.

I am proud and definitely excited of the effort and determination I have put into my goals. Never giving up, never making excuses and never letting anything stop me.

This was definitely not. an easy road, being the only one in 2 businesses to balance every since thing solo.

At. the end of it all, I have to remind myself why I started and Why I cant stop.

You must never stop until the results keep growing and growing.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend came in town I would definitely give them the itinerary of a lifetime… Starting off in miami, I would show them the highlights of Miami Beach, move up to Bayside and check out the boating scenery!
After that Wynood is the best stop to see some art and check out other artists talent up close and personal.
Moving on up from wynwood, and heading to Hollywood…..Time to see the beach and the walk the broadway!

I want to dedicate my success to my determination to keep going no matter what, no matter the detours or the obstacles that get in my way, my motivation and hunger to succeed in everything. I do, especially my goals and dream.
