We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheree Ramsey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheree, any advice for those thinking about whether to keep going or to give up?
I’ve been in a position multiple times in my life where things seem to not be working out, and I have to consider whether I should keep going or give up. One of the biggest decisions recently for me was whether to keep my business going almost several months ago. I had a business partner and we ended up splitting ways unfortunately for me I had to completely stop business because I had nowhere to do it. Originally I looked at it as a sign for me to just get out of the body sculpting business since it wasn’t even my idea to start with. However, my positive attitude about life quickly disregarded my first thoughts and looked at it as a blessing. I knew if I decided to keep going ultimately I would reach my main dream which is to be able to be on my on clock and get paid to travel. Where I’m from so many of us have become content with trying to find ways to work our way into a sustainable income for ourselves for years either working part time or full time for someone else, and are still barely making it. I wanted more out of life then making someone else dream come true.

In the end, I realized my current situation is not permanent and will not be my final destination as long as I am capable and God continues to strengthen me. The question of how to know whether to keep going or to give up doesn’t even exist anymore. I simply ask myself now when I reach a point where my dream seems impossible is what’s another way to skin this “cat” because there’s always more then one solution to any problem or any setback. Eric Thomas once said, “when you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe then you will be successful” , this is one of my favorite quotes because once you want something that bad there is no such thing as giving up. Before I realized and was ready to fully commit to making my dreams a reality I would consistently be quick to give up. Mentally I was just scared to be successful because what happens if I do become successful and can’t handle it. I guess we will find out as I continue my journey on being the best me I can possible be.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
First I would like to formal introduce myself my name is Sheree I’m 22 years old and I have a body sculpting business. I don’t consider myself to be the CEO because I personally feel when you become a entrepreneur you don’t start at the top its like any other job you start from the entry level and work your way up. So if someone were to ask what I consider myself I tell them I’m the employee, the marketing manger and every other position that makes the foundation of a business working my way up to a promotion. Many people don’t know what body body sculpting is or may have heard about being that its the new wave and its trending now. However for those who don’t know what body sculpting is let me enlighten you. Body sculpting is a controlled fat reduction and body contouring procedure. It’s a non-surgical treatment that safely removes stubborn fat deposits from the body. Also, with the help of vacuum therapy a buttlift can be preformed without surgery. Our mission at Body Icon is to provide a safe haven, for our clients to allow their inner beauty out. a place where comfort, self-love, knowledge, beauty, and personalized attention, combined to create a memorable self transforming experience. My willingness to make sure all my clients are knowledgeable of their bodies while making them look flawless in their own skin long after the wave of this trend is gone along with the wave riders who have moved on to the next hot business trend is what sets Body Icon apart from any other body sculpting business.
