We had the good fortune of connecting with Silvia Albertini and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Silvia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
“I believe that the most important factor behind the success of our brand is the emphasis on providing personalized and individualized attention to our customers, ensuring their needs and preferences are met. Providing a high level of customer service is crucial in establishing customer loyalty and improving customer retention rates. Our business goes beyond simply offering a product or service by actively researching and fulfilling specific requests made by customers. By offering this level of personalized care, we are able to establish stronger relationships with customers and create a positive reputation for our brand. Additionally, our commitment to reliable customer service ensures that customers feel valued and satisfied with their experiences. Overall, focusing on customization as opposed to mass marketing to large audiences allows us a deeper understanding of our clients’ wants and needs, which further contributes to the success of our business.”
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My career journey has been a long and winding road, full of exciting experiences that have helped me grow both personally and professionally. I started my professional journey many years ago in Paraguay, working in the airlines industry. Later, I moved to Chile, where I focused mostly on my family. However, as a side job, I shared a partnership in a business producing Empanadas Chilenas which ended up becoming one of the best empanadas in Chile. After my family and I moved to Miami, I was given a great opportunity at a Duty Free company that allowed me to travel and gain invaluable insights into international business practices. One of my biggest accomplishments to date was sourcing and covering some of the company’s most essential client accounts, which resulted in the Duty Free’s expansion into eight new locations across the globe. As part of my role, I was responsible for overseeing every step of the contract negotiation and implementation process, which included drafting marketing proposals, negotiating rates with clients, and establishing operational requirements necessary for fulfilling the contracts’ scope of work.
Throughout my career, Miami has been a source of inspiration for me, which led me to start my own business, Miami a la carte. I wanted to share Miami’s unique lifestyle, experiences, and everything this city has to offer beyond beaches and shopping with my customers.
I am most proud of how far I’ve come from humble beginnings in my career. It wasn’t always easy, but I overcame the challenges through hard work, dedication, and staying focused on my goals. My story is a testament that success comes with perseverance. What I want the world to know about my brand and me is that anything is possible if you stay true to yourself, be persistent in your efforts, and work towards achieving your goals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a shoutout to my family and friends who have always been there for me and supported me throughout my journey. Their love, encouragement and guidance has been invaluable to me and has helped me to achieve everything that I have accomplished so far. I participate in a fellowship who has had a great impact in my life in growth both as a professional and as a person. With them I learned to commit to doing things always the right way , “the good intentions in the most that matter” , even if the outcome is not always what I hoped for .
I wouldn’t be where I am today without the amazing people and organizations in my life who have helped me to succeed.
