We had the good fortune of connecting with Sofia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sofia, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
I went into a creative field because I can’t stand stiff corporate environments. Too many rules and not enough room to actually do anything. Everything moves slow, every decision needs ten layers of approval, and by the time something gets greenlit, the moment’s already passed. That’s just not how I operate.

In creative work, I get to move how I want, trust my gut, and put out things that actually feel real. There’s no fake professionalism or watered-down ideas. I can show up as myself, make quick decisions, and build things that have energy and personality. I like that there’s room to take risks, adapt on the fly, and keep things fresh.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
What really sets me apart is that I value relationships and connections way more than titles or experience. I believe success comes from knocking on many doors until the right one opens. I’ve learned that being genuine and persistent opens more opportunities than just following a resume. That mindset, combined with trusting my instincts and staying adaptable, is what’s helped me build my career and work with some incredible brands along the way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Honestly, I love Miami’s boujee side, so I’d take them to dinner at places like Mila or Faena. I’m sure they would appreciate the beauty and upscale energy of those spots. For nightlife, E11EVEN or Space are musts. They are iconic venues and I wouldn’t miss the chance to show them what Miami’s nightlife is really like. We’d spend some time in the Design District, grab coffee and do some window shopping to take in the scene. Brickell is also a must. I’d find a spot where we can sit, watch people, and soak up the energy of the neighborhood. Finally, I’d take them to landmarks like Vizcaya or the Guitar Hotel because who doesn’t love seeing beautiful things?

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
If I had to credit my success to anything, I’d give a lot of it to Miami. Moving here opened up my perspective and pushed me to tap into a more creative, instinctual side of myself. The energy in this city is different. There’s momentum right now that’s impossible to ignore. It made me want to go harder, think bigger, and take risks.

Working with brands like E11EVEN, something that started right here in Miami and is now going global, showed me what’s possible when you mix vision with hustle. I really believe Miami is in the early stages of a boom that’s going to put it on the same level as New York, creatively and culturally. And I love that I’m not just watching it happen. I’m part of it. The gold rush is on and I’m here to catch it.
