We had the good fortune of connecting with Sonia A. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sonia A., putting aside the decision to work for yourself, what other decisions were critical to your success?
The most important decision I made was to believe in myself and in the value of my ideas. Daring to show my style, taking risks without fear, and putting love into every detail opened doors for me and allowed Samivanjo Art Decor to become a project that transforms spaces and touches heart

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My art goes beyond aesthetics to create meaningful and emotional experiences. What sets me apart is the ability to transform spaces into unforgettable memories. The journey has not been easy, but faith, perseverance, and love for my work have taught me that every challenge is an opportunity. Today, I know that true success lies in staying authentic and creating with purpose.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
One-Week Itinerary with My Best Friend

Day 1 – A Warm Welcome with Local Flavor
We would start at a signature restaurant, where traditional cuisine meets a modern touch. That first dinner should feel inviting, with dishes that reflect both identity and hospitality.

Day 2 – Art and Culture
We would visit museums, galleries, and cultural spaces. I love showing how local art reflects the history and soul of the community. The afternoon would end in a bohemian café, filled with the aroma of good coffee and soft music.

Day 3 – Nature and the Outdoors
A walk through a park, botanical garden, or natural reserve to disconnect and reconnect. We would take in the landscapes, capture photos, and enjoy moments of peace surrounded by beauty.

Day 4 – Architecture and Design
A day dedicated to exploring landmarks that stand out for their architecture and design. I enjoy showing how spaces also tell stories and transmit emotions.

Day 5 – Culinary Experiences
A tour of flavors: from vibrant local markets to contemporary restaurants. Experiencing the authentic, the creative, and the unexpected.

Day 6 – Nightlife and Entertainment
An evening out at an elegant bar or lounge with live music. The goal would be to enjoy the city’s energy, but always with style.

Day 7 – A Special Farewell
The final day would be spent in a serene setting, perhaps a viewpoint or a spot by the water, to reflect, share memories, and close the week with an experience that stays in the heart.

For me, the most exciting part is not just the places themselves, but the shared experience: the laughter, the conversations, and the chance to rediscover my surroundings through the eyes of someone dear.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I am grateful for my three children and for the book Color Theory, which helped me a lot.
