Meet Stacey Montecelo

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stacey Montecelo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Stacey, let’s talk legacy – what do you want yours to be?
First and foremost, all glory to God. My faith has always been my foundation and keeps me grounded—helping me lead with kindness, honesty, and integrity. One of the things I’m most proud of is the amazing community I’ve built—not just with clients, but real connections that have turned into lasting relationships.
Getting to be a part of people’s most special moments and helping bring their vision to life is what makes all the hard work so worth it. I just hope that through everything I’ve done, I’ve made people feel proud, celebrated, and truly seen.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’ve always loved decorating and planning events—it’s been my thing since middle school. Whether it was helping put together birthday parties or school functions, I’ve just always enjoyed bringing people together and creating moments that feel special. Hosting and entertaining really light me up, and there’s something so satisfying about making people smile through thoughtful design and details.
When I became a first-time mom, things definitely shifted—especially with all the new expenses. But with some encouragement from family and close friends, I decided to take a chance on myself and turn this passion into a business. It wasn’t all smooth sailing at first—I had a lot to learn—but the event community was so welcoming. I met amazing people who helped guide me, and from there things started to grow. It’s been such a rewarding journey, and I’m super grateful for all the support and the doors that keep opening.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting Miami for a week, here’s how I’d show them the best time ever:
First stop: Islas Canarias for cafecito and pastries—always a must!
Must-eats during the week:
– Joe’s Stone Crab (classic Miami)
– Sanguich for the best Cuban sandwich!
– KYU
Broken Shaker is the go-to for yummy cocktails.
A night out in Wynwood is a must—bar-hop through Gramps, Dante’s HiFi, and Le Chick’s speakeasy.
Catch a live Latin band and dance at Ball & Chain in Little Havana.
For something more relaxed, we’d head to Monty’s or The Standard Spa for scenic sunset drinks.
Rent a boat or join a boat tour to cruise around Star Island, Biscayne Bay, and the Sandbar followed up with lunch on the water at Joia Beach or dock at Seaspice.
On her last night, we’d go big with dinner at Komodo then dancing at LIV or E11even for the full Miami nightlife experience.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
First and foremost, I want to thank my dad for being my partner in building this little business from the ground up. His support and guidance have meant everything to me. I’m also beyond grateful for all my friends and amazing clients—your trust, love, and referrals have been the heart of this whole journey. I seriously couldn’t have done it without you.
