Meet Stefan Amali | The Hi Esteem Boss

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stefan Amali and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stefan, what do you attribute your success to?
My greatest gift is seeing greatness in other people. Experiencing talent is one of the most humbling yet rewarding aspects of human existence, So much of our success with Hi Esteem Agency has been guided by our ability to see greatness in our talent and inculcating a fervent sense of belief in them that is unwavering. 

My family is also another huge contributor to my success.  Both my parents set an incredible example of what hard and determination can yield and though my journey hasn’t always been as meritocratic as I would like it to be, I still believe in core rudimentary values that haven’t gotten lost in today’s generation.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So much of the success of our business model depends on our ability to find and represent the best talents in our region. That process is an art form, we believe we have mastered. Upon that premise there are a few talents that we have to shoutout!

We are super excited about the career trajectory of Savannah Garcia internationally. She deserves a shout out for sure, as she is on the verge of a massive international breakthrough.

In Trinidad & Tobago we are super excited about our new signing Chelsea Sapphire Mohamed, so shoutout to her. Chelsea is the epitome of class and effortless beauty, so we know she will do well for us.

In Jamaica, we have to shoutout Briana Schwapp who has been a historic signing for the company. 

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When I am in Miami, it’s all about Blackbird Ordinary in Brickell.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
As we celebrate our 5 year anniversary this year, Id like to shoutout everyone in our staff and talent pool that makes Hi Esteem Agency the expansive and fast growing company it is today. Not to sound self absorbed but I genuinely don’t think people do this enough but I’d like to shoutout myself for staying true to the vision even when I was being maligned and defamed. The calling of a Genius is the ability to show and do the work when it is unfashionable , unseen and under appreciated. Building my two companies Worlds Collide JA & Hi Esteem Agency have been my main priority over the last two years but I’m proud to announce that 2025 , we will be starting Hi Esteem Records – the record label associated with our agency.

 Having been in the music industry for 15 years, I believe I have ascertained a broad spectrum of knowledge and wisdom to share. In our current agency structure we have incredible singer / songwriters like Karolina Achong, Dania Duntin, and Janelle Pirmal. 

Working with these immensely gifted young women over the last few years has strengthened my confidence , that with the right structure we can help our Caribbean musicians grow and they are a big part of my decision to start record label now. Hopefully they will be apart of that imprint for a long time.
