Meet Stefano Brizzio Recchia | Graphic designer and illustrator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Stefano Brizzio Recchia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stefano, why did you pursue a creative career?
The first thing that made me pursue to be an artist and graphic designer was the fact that I could work for myself, I could have my own schedules, workplace, projects and choose my clients. The other thing that made me choose this career was the fact that you could always try different paths until you found what you love the most.
Nowadays I feel that I’ve found it, by making illustrations and starting my own clothes brand.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a graphic designer, I needed a place to express myself, I tried with music but art/illustration was the place to be; where I can express my feelings and draw about things I like. Combine those things (Graphic Design and art/illustration) expand my possibilities to express myself and that’s amazing! It wasn’t easy at the beginning and I still struggle sometimes, but with a lot of effort and dedication I found where to settle up. I worked on advertising, as a graphic designer for a company, as a freelance designer making branding, motion graphics, editorial, social media, etc. and finally I discovered that I wanted to dedicate only on illustration and started a clothes brand where I use my artwork and my knowledge as a graphic designer and sometimes I work on branding because it is something I still like to do.
I learned that you must try everything you can to find what you love the most. And still learning all the time you can; that keeps you motivated and creative!
I hope someday the world will know my work and enjoy it the same as me at doing it!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Other thing I love to do is cooking, I’m trying new recipes and new flavors all the time, so if my best friend comes to visit the area I will make a tour on every restaurant I love. We will try every exotic food we can and drink the best cocktails in the area. We could find some places to skate or ride during the day and then take the restaurant tour we planed in the evening!

The ones who deserve credits for my success in my life and career are my family and friends, because they always support and encourage me to follow my dreams.
