Hi stefano, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
the idea of The Scouting App comes from my profession as a professional football scout. I have always tried to use digital systems and registers to manage my data, and I remember that I was able to develop an excel file where through some commands I was able to filter and trace a large part of the data: but there was a big problem, this system was not dynamic and did not allow to go back, for example, to reports, external files, and older data ended up being forgotten. But the biggest problem was found in the delicacy of this type of tool, such as if you make a mistake typing something in the cells, you can compromise the saved data and risk finding yourself with all your lost work. From this, taking advantage of a moment when I was looking for the opportunity to create an alternative source of income to my work, the project of The Scouting App was born.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I was lucky enough to be able to devote myself to football from a very young age, a lifelong passion that gave me the opportunity to be able to do what I have always liked and managing to turn it into a job. This precocity gave me the opportunity to learn and pay attention on my professional growth, managing to make continuous experiences, update myself and study continuously over time. Without a doubt it was not easy but I can say that all the experiences I have had the opportunity to face, between Italy and Spain, have given me the opportunity to grow as a person and open my mind to new projects like that of The Scouting App.
The birth of the company was accidental but it gave me the opportunity to combine my passion for tech and data with football, thus managing to become an emerging software increasingly appreciated around the world in the space of 2 years: we can proudly say that they have customers on all continents.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I can dedicated it only to myself, my wife and my father, the only people who always believed in the project and my vision.
