Hi Stephanie, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
From a young age, I have always had a strong desire to become an entrepreneur. I understood early on that starting a business would require, time, patience, and financial investment. As Steph’s A1 Beauty Bar is my third business, I have gained valuable knowledge and experience from my previous ventures, which allowed me to understand the fundamentals of business startup. My first step was conducting research on the industry. Then, I created a business plan that outlined my goals and strategies. After that, I attended school and graduated with my esthetics license. Once licensed, I came up with the business name and legal structure. Although the process of starting a business involves several steps, I believe that with the right mindset and support system, it can be a smooth and rewarding experience.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Steph’s A1 Beauty Bar operates out of my private home suite, where I specialize as a Holistic Esthetician with a focus on acne, hyperpigmentation, and anti-aging. What sets my services apart from others is not only my commitment to providing exceptional care, but also my dedication to building genuine relationships with my clients. I believe that establishing trust and fostering a personal connection are key to helping my clients achieve their skin goals. This business is my true passion; it’s not about financial gain, but about ensuring that each client leaves feeling empowered and confident. I’m excited to see what the future holds for both myself and my business. Getting to this point hasn’t been without its challenges. While attending school, I faced the difficulties of pregnancy and severe illness, which made it hard to continue my coursework. However, with the support of my compassionate instructor, I was able to transition to online classes until I felt better. I want to share this message with the world: Even when things feel impossible, with a positive mindset, consistency, and trust in the process, you can overcome any obstacle.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friend to my favorite spots in Fort Lauderdale and Miami. Hard Rock Casino offers a dynamic atmosphere where you can enjoy a variety of dining options, lively music, and exciting events. Brimstone is known for its inviting ambience and is a great place to unwind with flavorful good and drinks while enjoying a laid back, yet lively, environment. Las Olas is famous for its diverse array of boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. It’s a wonderful place to explore, shop, and enjoy a casual meal or drink. Doral Cityplacd is a modern and vibrant destination that offers a variety of dining and entertainment options. Each of these locations provides a unique blend of comfort, great food, and a welcoming vibe, making them perfect for a casual day or evening to enjoy good food and music in a relaxing environment.

I would like to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude to the individuals who have been instrumental in supporting me throughout this journey. First and foremost, I want to thank my incredible husband for being my constant source of strength. His unwavering support, both emotionally and financially, has been invaluable, and he has been there for me every step of the way. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my parents, who raised me to be the determined, resilient woman I am today. Their guidance and values have shaped me into a go getter, and I am deeply grateful for their influence in my life. Finally, I want to acknowledge my four boys. Their motivation and love keep me going each day, and they serve as a constant reminded of why I strive to achieve success.
