We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephanie (Pearled by Perry) Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephanie (Pearled by Perry), alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
I define success as a desirable or favorable outcome. Success is a personal achievement and will look differently for everyone. Success is doing your best everyday and finding purpose in everything you do. We are not guaranteed happiness when we become successful, however, If we do what we love, success is sure to follow!

What should our readers know about your business?
Like many stylists, I have loved hair since I was a child. No matter if I was playing in my doll’s hair or styling my God sister with the hottest new hair trend, my passion for styling hair has always been evident, even throughout college when I studied being that sexy nurse or psychologist. I attribute much of my success to my dedication to this craft. Education has led my business for 20+ years and truly sets me apart from my peers. I have set many trends over the years, but I quickly became known as an expert in natural hair care and straightening. If you’ve ever had heat damage after getting your natural hair straightened, then you know how important this is! And, when I couldn’t always find the perfect edge tamer to give my clients that finished look, I created my own! No empire is built without challenge, but I’m proud to enjoy a career that I can foster a special and lasting connection with people and I love the confidence and smiles that a fresh look gives my clients.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Miami has so many creative things to get into! When I’m hanging with my girls, a good wine tasting, local festival, day party on a boat are all go to’s for a great time! Sightseeing in Wynwood, South Beach, and Las Olas are always a good time as well. Of course every trip to Miami includes good food! We have an amazing Sunday Brunch culture and I love seafood so Prime 112, STK Steakhouse and Billy’s Stone crab are my favorites for dinner.

Stephanie R Perry… Stephanie Perry is a Talented Licensed Cosmetologist who has been practicing the craft for over 21+ years. Her advanced educational background is extensive. She has trained with some of the industry’s top professionals at Lively Technical Center in Tallahassee Florida. Stephanie is experienced and talented with weave extensions, coloring, cutting, natural hair care and makeup. Stephanie has all the necessary skills that made her the professional hairstylist that she is today. Stephanie work takes her on location photo shoot, video shoots, backstage of runways for fashion shows, weddings, ect. She demonstrates her talent and desire to create a flawless style to enhance the subject in a creative and professional way.
