Meet Sunny Dee | Parent, Cannabis Advocate, and Podcast Host

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sunny Dee and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sunny, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
You could only live life by taking risks, and everyones first dance with Mary Jane was a risk worth taking. When we first started the podcast we decided not to show our faces, we thought putting the focus on the plant instead of ourselves was the way to go , but after meeting others and talking about really advocating for the plant the only real way to de-stigmatize Moms smoking weed was to actually show up and represent them.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Pot Smoking Moms combine education, entertainment and community for everyone who enjoys Cannabis. Primarily other parents, but we like to create a safe space for everyone in the Cannabis community. We are so excited to now be hosting events for our community, we hope to connect our audience to brands and activism that benefits our entire community and heals our country’s past.

Our podcast hopes to continue de-stigmatizing this useful plant, by providing our audience with information that helps them become better, more responsible consumers. We would like to promote activism to consumers, and help them understand that prohibition was created in the first place to control minority and immigrant communities.
