Hi Suzana, the decisions we make often shape our story in profound ways. What was one of the most difficult decisions you’ve had to make?
The decision to leave my hometown was not made lightly. It required careful consideration of the opportunities that awaited me in the United States. I knew that by venturing abroad, I would be exposed to diverse perspectives, educational prospects, and career possibilities that were unavailable to me in my familiar surroundings. It was a chance to broaden my horizons, challenge myself, and grow as an individual.

However, as the departure date drew near, a sense of melancholy and apprehension began to take hold. The prospect of leaving behind the familiar sights, sounds, and smells that had shaped my identity felt daunting. The thought of starting anew in an unfamiliar
place seemed overwhelming, and doubts started to cloud my mind. Would I be able to adapt to the American way of life? Would I be able to make new friends and form meaningful relationships? These questions haunted me, but deep down, I knew that stepping out
of my comfort zone was necessary for personal growth.

Saying goodbye to my family and friends was an emotional rollercoaster. The tears and heartfelt farewells were a testament to the deep connections I had formed over the years. They had been my pillars of support, my confidants, and my source of joy. Leaving
them behind felt like leaving a piece of myself, and the weight of that decision settled heavily on my heart.

Arriving in the United States, I was greeted by a whirlwind of new experiences. The hustle and bustle of the cities, the towering skyscrapers, and the diverse blend of cultures were both exhilarating and overwhelming. I quickly realized that adapting to this
new world would require an open mind and a willingness to embrace change.

Navigating the cultural nuances, social norms, and even the everyday routines proved to be a challenge. From learning to navigate the public transportation system to understanding the local slang, every aspect of daily life seemed to present a new hurdle. However,
I approached each obstacle with determination and resilience, reminding myself of the reasons why I had embarked on this journey in the first place.

Over time, I began to find my footing in this foreign land. I made new friends who welcomed me with open arms, and they became my support system away from home. Together, we explored the wonders of this diverse country, immersing ourselves in its history, art,
and natural beauty. I discovered new passions and interests, and my perspective on life expanded as I embraced the multicultural tapestry that surrounded me.

As a newly established real estate agent, I must emphasize that this profession is far from easy. It demands great passion, patience, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. Embarking on this journey has opened my eyes to the significance of pursuing a career you genuinely adore. My unwavering passion and love for this field empower me, granting me the fortitude and courage necessary to conquer any obstacles that come my way. Furthermore, it instilled in me the patience to witness the fruitful outcomes of my dedicated efforts. Sincerely my initial exposure to the world of real estate was through watching “Selling Sunset” while residing in Haiti. At that moment, an undeniable spark ignited within me, and upon moving to the United States, I knew without hesitation that becoming a real estate agent would be my primary goal. Ever since that realization, my passion for this profession has blossomed, and I am wholeheartedly committed to dedicating myself entirely to becoming one of the finest agents in the field.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
As a passionate food enthusiast and someone who appreciates the art of cooking, one of the first things I would love to introduce to my family and friends is a delightful French restaurant called LPM. This charming establishment offers a warm and inviting ambiance, making it an ideal choice for gathering and creating a friendly atmosphere. With its delectable French cuisine, LPM ensures every dish is a masterpiece, satisfying the palates of even the most discerning food lovers. Whether it’s the exquisite flavors or the elegant presentation, dining at LPM promises a memorable and enjoyable experience. Another excellent option that I highly recommend is Maron Miami. This vibrant establishment boasts incredible food and creates a captivating ambiance with its lively music. The combination of delectable cuisine and an energetic atmosphere makes Maron Miami a memorable dining experience.
Rosa Sky is a great choice for a fantastic happy hour and drinks. Its inviting atmosphere and enjoyable offerings make it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a refreshing beverage.
As a real estate agent, I am eager to share the beauty of Miami with my family and friends. To do so, I will organize a captivating boat ride to take them on a journey to witness the breathtaking houses adorning the beach. This immersive experience will allow them to marvel at Miami’s incredible architecture and coastal charm. It’s a perfect opportunity for them to appreciate the remarkable real estate in the area while enjoying a scenic adventure on the water.

While I will always hold my hometown dear to my heart, leaving it was a transformative experience. It taught me the importance of adaptability, resilience, and the beauty of embracing the unknown. By stepping outside the boundaries of familiarity, I discovered a strength within myself that I never knew existed.

Undoubtedly, the decision to leave my hometown was the most challenging one I have ever faced. It required me to confront my fears, overcome obstacles, and redefine my sense of self. Ultimately, it was a decision that propelled me towards personal growth, cultural
enrichment, and a world of endless possibilities.
