We had the good fortune of connecting with Syana Mclean and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Syana, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
At the time I was a young mom and I always knew working for someone wasn’t a option I need consistent income for me and my little one it was a personal drive I had amazing support but my mom had me think of ways to have consistent income and flexible hours and then a friend talked me into servicing hair services since I was always changing my hair . I had barely any knowledge but I took a leap of faith .

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Iam a hairstylist with my own private suite servicing clients and brides yearly . I grew my business with great knowledge of advertising and marketing from my broadcast and communication background. Nothing is ever easy especially working with others but I started young and I grew with my business. I learned from my mistakes and I also had help along the way from other professional s. I’ve learned along the way patients , not to sweat the small things and when you get knocked down take a moment and never give up . My goal as a hairstylist is make each beautiful woman walk out with confidence to take on the world with force .

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take her to Fort Lauderdale beach for day time activities and either las o las or south beach for a night on the town . Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This is hard because in my journey I had so much support from the beginning to now so if your reading this SHOUTOUT to you for pushing me to start , keeping me motivated and believing in me it’s so many of you and I’m thankful
