Meet Sylvie Delabaude | Sylvie Delabaude, Artist & Yogaterapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sylvie Delabaude and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sylvie, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
I am very proud to say that we managed to get for our students some scholarships in our studio. And we also donate a percentage of the income monthly to a good cause that we choose randomly.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Starting a business is not easy, because in the way, you can encounter many challenges. Even if the opening of a yoga studio can be stressful, I really didn’t notice the hard work, at all, I think it was because I was doing something I really love. There’s the thing, if you love what you do, then things will come organically and happiness will be in the way.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
The city of Miami is a great place to visit, we have it all; the beaches, the Everglades, the restaurants, and a must: the art galleries and museums. The city invites you to enjoy!. So for me, the best thing to do is to be outside and do everything that you want.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am very grateful for my parents, whom from the beginning were my supporters and first fans. To all my students and colleagues; thank you. They also are teachers in this journey. I want to recognize all my teachers from my years of practice. It will be unfair to just name a few, so thank you to you all! Last but not least, I am very thankful for my husband who is my first support and also for his patient and recognition of my work.
