We had the good fortune of connecting with Terell Killings and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Terell, how do you think about risk?
I think taking risks have rewarded me tremendously in life. Risks have allowed me to make mistakes that were costly but turned me into the real estate investor that I am today. I think me taking risks allowed me to take that leap of faith and leave my 9-5 corporate job and enter into limitless opportunities in the real estate market. Taking risks has been absolutely life changing for me.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I have a few business all real estate related. My first profession as a real estate broker-associate I would say is my most rewarding hat that I wear being able to assist people in leveraging into home ownership which I know to be the fastest route to generational wealth, closing the wealth gap is what inspires me daily. What sets me apart is a few things my team is a group of realtors but we facilitate mortgage as well creating an all inclusive experience for our clients which includes faster response times and support in this competitive market. It was not easy building the structure that I have created however it was essential in giving our clients the answers and service they deserve when making such a large investment in life. What I have learned throughout my experience in real estate is that if you don’t own you will be left behind, my job is to lead the masses to success and progression and that starts with owning property.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would visit Eddie V’s for the best dinner, Lil greenhouse grill in the heart of Overtown for lunch, and Arlines for breakfast.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to shoutout Elite Realty Partners led by my mentor Tenisha Williams, as she taught me the core principles in becoming a successful real estate professional. I also would like to shoutout my business partners Mickael Lonzeille and Rasheed Hope for playing a major part in the development of our real estate investment company “Less Stress Home Buyers”.
