Meet Te’Vaun Stanford and Amber Stanford | Personal Trainer & Barber

We had the good fortune of connecting with Te’Vaun Stanford and Amber Stanford and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Te’Vaun & Amber, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Risk taking was very vital to us. Understanding our pros and cons helped us with making clear decisions. Honestly nothing was planned. We knew everything wasn’t going to be perfect but with hard work, diligence and sacrifice we would be where we wanted to be. There were times where we were forced to move with the flow. Perseverance was huge especially when it came to many adversities we faced build resilience. A lot of late nights early mornings trying to make a rose out of gray pavement and still going has been tough but I love every single moment.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our business is full of originality and creativity. We are a family owned business with many different skills and many talents. We have designed a gym like no other, combining everything we love to do to share with others. We are more than just a gym. With a Barbershop, Pole Studio and Selfie Room we have created an attraction to spike many interests. We make workouts fun, exciting and the pictures are Instagram worthy. No our journey has not been easy and we never expected it to be. If it were easy then everyone would be doing it. We still face many challenges everyday and the most valuable lesson we have learned is to just keep moving.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Port Saint Lucie is a small town and while it is growing, Tradition is a great area for shopping and places to eat.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We’re not afraid to admit that we’ve put our pride aside and allowed others to intervene in times of need. Building your own requires a lot. Not just money but also time and energy. There’s been times when the rug has been pulled from underneath us. My mother was a significant part of our success. With her love, support and positive words of encouragement pushed us to keep striving.
