We had the good fortune of connecting with Theodora Oatmeyer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Theodora, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. Even as a kid, I found myself pursuing small business ventures, from selling rainbow loom bracelets on Miami Beach to tie-dye clothing, I knew early on that I wanted to be my own boss. I’ve always been driven by the desire to create something uniquely my own—a space where I could fully embrace my creativity and passion for storytelling. Starting my own business wasn’t easy, but I’ve always been ready for a challenge and strongly believe in the power of taking risks. When I began, I saw a genuine need for the services I could offer, and the timing felt right to turn my vision into reality.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
KEFI is a creative marketing agency based in South Florida, specializing in activations, social media management, newsletters, event management, and elevated campaigns. While we proudly work with local businesses, we’re excited to expand beyond Florida in 2025, bringing our creative approach to clients in new markets.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Boca Raton Itinerary: More to Do Than You’d Think!

As a big foodie and Boca local, I love sharing my favorite spots with friends. There’s so much to explore here, but I’ll try to keep it short (though I could go on forever)!

Morning Kick-Off
There are so many great coffee options in Boca, but lately, I’ve been feeling:
• Mane Coffee for their unique seasonal flavors.
• Or a Iced honey vanilla latte from Whole Foods—especially the blended one at the Boca location. It just hits different!
Start the day early with a sunrise at Palmetto Beach—trust me, the views are magical and the perfect way to start your day.

Activities & Adventures
• Kick things into gear with a workout either at Gravity + Oxygen Fitness, FOCUS or Johnny O’s.
• Bike along the water or visit the peaceful gardens at Morikami Museum for a serene escape.
• Stroll through Mizner Park or the new Uptown Boca for some shopping and exploring.
• Take a sunset walk around Mizner Park to end your day at sunset and grab dinner.
• Stop by the Boca Raton Hotel and Beach Club for stunning views and a little luxury.

Foodie Highlights
Of course, no day in Boca is complete without incredible food:
• Grab sushi at Lemongrass in Royal Palm Place or check out Yokohama, a cozy hole-in-the-wall favorite.
• Enjoy a steak dinner at Gallagher’s Steakhouse, and don’t miss their homemade strawberry ice cream—it’s unforgettable.

First and foremost, I want to thank the Lord for placing these incredible opportunities in my path. None of this would be possible without His guidance and blessings. I’m beyond grateful for the doors that have opened and the challenges that have shaped me.
