Meet Thomas Cordasco | Realtor & Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Thomas Cordasco and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Thomas, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Taking risks has been a defining factor in my life and career. Moving from Fairfield, New Jersey to Miami, Florida was one of the biggest risks I’ve ever taken. At the time, I left behind everything familiar—my family, friends, my career and the comfort of my hometown—to start fresh in a new state with no guarantees. That leap of faith led me to meet my wife, start a family, and eventually find my calling in real estate.
Becoming a realtor was another calculated risk. After losing my job during COVID, I could have settled for the security of a traditional 9-to-5. Instead, I chose to bet on myself and pursue a career that would allow me to control my time, provide for my family, and make a bigger impact. It was scary stepping into the unknown, but I knew staying comfortable wouldn’t get me closer to the life I envisioned for myself and my family.
I see risk as a necessary part of growth. For me, it’s about aligning my decisions with my purpose and values. Taking risks has taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to trust myself. Without those risks, I wouldn’t be where I am today—helping families find their dream homes, coaching football and basketball and helping fathers like myself to be the best versions of themselves, and creating a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.

What should our readers know about your business?
My journey in business has been anything but easy, but every challenge has shaped me into who I am today. Whether it’s in real estate or personal development, my brand is built on honesty, integrity, and a genuine desire to help people. I’m proud to say that my clients know they can trust me to put their best interests first, whether it’s finding their dream home or helping them become the best version of themselves.
Getting to where I am today required overcoming significant challenges. Moving to Florida was a leap of faith, but it set the foundation for everything I’ve accomplished. When I was laid off during COVID, it was a wake-up call. I had to pivot, take risks, and commit to creating a life where I wasn’t just working for a paycheck but truly making a difference in people’s lives. That’s when I became a realtor and focused on helping fathers grow through personal development coaching.
The biggest lesson I’ve learned along the way is that success requires resilience, hard work, and a servant mindset. You can’t fake care for people—it has to be authentic. I’ve also learned the value of discipline and the power of staying true to your purpose, no matter how hard things get.
What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I’m here to serve. Whether you’re looking to buy or sell a home or you’re a father wanting to grow into the best version of yourself, my mission is to help you succeed. I’m not just about closing deals or giving advice—I’m about building relationships and making a positive impact on people’s lives. That’s what drives me every single day.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend were visiting, I’d make sure they experienced the best of South Florida, starting with plenty of time outdoors. Since I’m a nature guy, we’d definitely hang out at the beach—there’s nothing like starting the day with a sunrise walk or just relaxing by the water. I’d also take them kayaking at Oleta River State Park. It’s one of my favorite spots to connect with nature, and it’s a peaceful escape from the city.
When it comes to food, I’d make sure we hit some incredible spots. I love Jaya at The Setai for its upscale vibe and amazing dishes, so we’d have a dinner there. I’m also a fan of any restaurant on the water with a good atmosphere. We’d check out places like Baia Beach Club. I don’t drink, but I’d make sure the vibes are great, and we’d enjoy amazing food and sunsets over the water.
For activities, I’d take them to explore Wynwood for its art scene and unique shops, check out Hard Rock and then do some jet skiing.
I love Key West so the week wouldn’t be complete without a day trip to the Florida Keys for that laid-back island vibe and some fresh seafood. On the way back, we’d hit up some hidden gems like local markets or small beachside cafes.
South Florida has so much to offer, but for me, it’s all about creating moments—relaxing by the ocean, enjoying great food, and connecting with nature. That’s the kind of trip I’d share with my friends.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Without a doubt, all the credit and recognition belong to God. Every step of my journey—the highs, the lows, the risks, and the blessings—has been guided by His hand. Moving to Florida, meeting my wife, starting a family, and transitioning into real estate and personal development coaching were all part of His plan. None of this would have been possible without the faith and strength He’s given me.
I also have to recognize my wife, Andrea, for being my rock and my greatest supporter. She’s stood by me through every challenge and celebrated every victory, always encouraging me to keep going and stay true to my purpose. Together, we’ve built a life that reflects the values and priorities we hold close, and I’m so grateful for her partnership in this journey.
Finally, I owe thanks to the people who have trusted me—whether as a coach, a realtor, or simply as someone who’s shared their story with me. It’s been an honor to serve others and through that, see God’s work unfold in my life.
