We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Marshall and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor is I’m the first woman and first black woman that created my own vodka cocktail in the state of Kentucky! My goal is to make my brand worldwide!
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Let me share a bit about my journey. I enrolled in bartending school in 2012, obtaining my license, and began working in a nightclub. In 2016, I crafted a beloved signature drink named Pretty Birdie, alongside other unique concoctions. In 2020, I collaborated with Flavorman, investing nearly 4 years to formulate my drink. On January 5th, I launched at Liquor Depot, selling 105 bottles in a few hours. Looking ahead, my goal is to expand production and make my signature drinks global. I am proud of the obstacles I got through because this was not an easy process. The lessons I learned is to keep pushing, have patience and stay in prayer.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Since I’m on a bartender and I’m very known in my city, I would take her to the best nightclubs and the upscale restaurants that I love to eat at!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Yes I want to dedicate this to a friend that helped me get in bartending school. If It wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have created a drink. Also to my kids father that inspire me!
