We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Ortiz Dominguez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tiffany, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I strongly believe that it’s our passion. It’s not just about jewelry for us. We’re aiming to empower and connect women through meaningfully personalized taudrey pretties, and we pour a lot of love into every action. Our strong commitment to our mission is felt and appreciated by customers. My team and I also very much strive to get personal and share our own lives with our customers. We’re genuine, even when things don’t look Instagram perfect. We want our fans to know that we’re a part of this #taudreygirl culture as we cultivate an encouraged community of like-minded females.

When I started taudrey from my bedroom floor 11 years ago, it was just me, stringing beads and stamping charms for friends and family. Today, we’re a team of five Latinas shipping to every state and Canada. And at the start of 2020, we became an official QVC brand, which was truly a dream come true and an accomplishment of which I’m ridiculously proud. Our growth has been slow and steady and I’m endlessly grateful for our organic expansions, as it’s allowed me to grow personally as well. I truly believe passion, an amazing team, and a strong focus on female empowerment, open communication and giving back, has led to taudrey’s success. Challenges are constant when it comes to a company’s growth, and the last 11 years has been filled with lots of late nights, early mornings, coffee, and plenty of tears. But they’ve also been filled with endless smiles and that indescribable feeling of accomplishment. Every challenge prompts growth, so when I look back, I’m grateful for every struggle. My advice for anyone going through it would be, keep going and always, always, always trust your gut. Oh, and surround yourself with a ridiculously amazing team that’s going to cry with you when things get tough, and celebrate with you when it’s time to pop the champagne. My hope is that when people think of taudrey, that thoughts of quality, affordable and meaningful jewelry that’s crafted and personalized by hand, is met with thoughts of a strong culture of female empowerment and fun. We want to bring women together and use our pieces to celebrate life’s moments and personal strength.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Appreciating Covid restrictions, I’d highly recommend ordering takeout from Joe’s Stone Crab, and setting up a blanket picnic at the nearby park. It’s the perfect Miami moment. I’d also recommend taking in a sunrise. In the early morning, when the city is quiet, you can soak in and appreciate the beauty of this town, without all of the distractions.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to shout out all the women out there who are making it happen! The gals who are building empires, both personally and professionally, and doing it all with grace.
